Sprinter has still to get past Sizing Europe. I expect he will without a problem but he's the real deal Sizing Europe and the best he's ever met.

Just hope he comes home safe and sound

No idea what happened to Simonsig yesterday - wouldn't mind seeing him up against Sprinter Sacre next year. Assuming all goes well with the pair of them then that would be the race of the year - not often a horse that jumps round Penshurst turns up winning two Grade 1's at Cheltenham :lol:

I was a wreck watching the race. Often look back to Sizing Europes Champion Hurdle, when I thought the back problem was just an excuse and think how unlucky he was not to win that day. Hope he doesn't go down in racing history as an underrated horse. As for Sprinter Sacre; can't say I enjoyed watching the race [don't think I watched them jump a fence] but enjoyed the replay.

Seems very unlikely . Looks like Corky Browne had a point . Captain Conan would have beaten Simonsig with the latter so free and jumping so moderately.
