The final eight contestants have three weeks to freshen up before the 4th round, but if they want to take away that freshness they can enter the weekly tipping contests, or have an outing on the sand in an all weather bummer.

Rules
• Competitors choose one selection per race through the card.
• Home players must announce their choice of meeting by the Wednesday preceding the event or they lose the right to choose.
• Away players have to post their selections by midnight on the eve of commencement.
• Home players have until 30 minutes before the first race to post their selections.
• Non runners. If a horse is declared a NR on the day then all players can replace it with a substitute before the race actually starts as long as it is recorded on here before the official off time of the race. Away players picking stated doubtful runners in order to gain an advantage that they are not entitled to, will be shamed accordingly.
• If away team players make their selections early from the five day declarations and they result in some non runners (not on the race card) amongst them, then they will be deemed unnamed favourites.
• 5 points awarded for a winner, 3 points for a second, and 1 point for a third. A dead heat will mean the points are equally divided accordingly.
• In case of a tie, then firstly the amount of winners, followed by seconds and then thirds will count, should this fail to separate then a profit to loss ratio will apply.
• Quarter finals Saturday 8th March.
• Semi Finals will be played over the first two days....Tuesday 11th March and Wednesday 12th March of the Cheltenham Festival. Home and away rules apply.
• The Final will be played over the last two days....Thursday 13th March and Friday 14th March of the Cheltenham Festival. Home and away rules apply.
• The need for any amendments due to unforeseen circumstances that crop up will be applied accordingly and registered for future reference.
• All players must without exemption enjoy participation and except and invoke the wholehearted spirit shown by that of the persons who kindly donated the prizes.
