Unless it's the EU as far as many here are concerned....What, another country interfering in the UK’s sovereign right to make its own decisions? Yes, I think that would be a bad thing.
We had a casting vote in everything I believe…Unless it's the EU as far as many here are concerned....
We certainly did. And the EU’s “interference in our national sovereignty” was nothing of the kind, of course. We had a casting vote in everything I believe…

Anyway, I’m just throwing a few hypotheticals around.
No, actually, it is more my perception. Membership of the single market - and its attendant increased immigration - was the big problem; and that was something we voted for anyway. The other stuff, like the EU insisting that the UK couldn't sell bent bananas, was all contained in the fevered editorials of the right-wing press. And if you believed that...Only in your opinion
Whatever one thinks of his politics or him personally, it's a remarkable victory for Donald Trump.
In terms of electoral college votes, it's, at worst, a comprehensive victory, and, at best, a landslide.
And he's won the popular vote with in excess of 50% of it - which in my view is the greatest mandate of all.
And it looks like he's helped the Republicans not only win the Senate but most probably Congress (the House Of Representatives) too.
If you believe in democracy, you won't dispute his right to enforce his policies.
The next four years may be many things, but boring will not be one of them.

Why be part of a huge international trading bloc when you can be a tiny inconsequential country begging for trade deals from immoral populist ruled countries eh?Only in your opinion
yawn still bitter about losing (both the popular vote and at constituency level so a total loss)Why be part of a huge international trading bloc when you can be a tiny inconsequential country begging for trade deals from immoral populist ruled countries eh?
The difference it makes could be enough to transform your economy overnight and with all due respect do you ever have major differences with the Yanks over foreign policy. What, another country interfering in the UK’s sovereign right to make its own decisions? Yes, I think that would be a bad thing.
We might soon have a major disagreement over foreign policy, if Trump pulls US funding out of Ukraine’s war with Russia. The difference it makes could be enough to transform your economy overnight and with all due respect do you ever have major differences with the Yanks over foreign policy.
Remains to be seen -my personal opinion would be if Trump forces Zelensky to do a deal the rest of NATO will fall into line.We might soon have a major disagreement over foreign policy, if Trump pulls US funding out of Ukraine’s war with Russia.
Indeed they will. Because NATO is nothing without the US.Remains to be seen -my personal opinion would be if Trump forces Zelensky to do a deal the rest of NATO will fall into line.
