Trump vs Harris

I was trying to console myself with the fact that WWIII didn’t happen when Trump was president before until I saw the sort of people he’s taking on. Eg the woman that boasted about shooting her dog and goat and who makes Sarah Palin look like Mother Theresa. In retrospect most of Trumps first reign was taken up with the pandemic during which there wasn’t much in the way of foreign policy. Supposedly he’s going to clear the ‘Marxists’ out of school because they’re indoctrinating children so they can be indoctrinated with Trump stuff.
 
I'm not sure I've ever expressed an opinion on the latter on here, to be honest, and wanting Labour to win our election or the Democrats to win the US one doesn't mean I don't recognise the moral vacuum in which all sides operate.
 
It's interesting how much Kamala's campaign outspent Trump's and still lost considering how much campaign money they have is to spend is a significant factor over there.

True -but it is the elephant in the room -how much Israeli money is available to influence American and European opinions.
 
Luke: believe me I’m horrified by what’s happening in Gaza. But there is no way that the Palestinians will be treated any better with Trump being president.

The Harris policy on Gaza was to make a sad face and make conflicting statements.She was VP when at least 20,000 children were killed and an untold amount remain to be counted under the rubble.
Personally I think Trump will be no friend of the Palestinians but he will tell Nethanyahu to finish up in January.I hope I am wrong but I doubt 20,000 Palestinian children will die during the Trump presidency.

Supposedly Israel are cramming as much in now as they can so that when Trump becomes president they’ll be ready for some kind of deal. Which will include annexing of parts of Gaza and Palestinians not being allowed back to some areas. Of course 20,000 children won’t die under a Trump presidency…so man women and children have gone already.
