Weirdest Thing About You?

I hate it when i have just bought the R7 Driver from Taylor Made and the day after, some bugger tells me he could have got it cheaper for me.

No quite as precious as Don about it but I do think one of the best, most simple pleasures is opening that new book - just the look, feel and best of all, smell of those pristine pages!!

Sort of along the lines of the smell of new-mown spring grass and really fresh, outside dried laundry...
Exactly, Jules. By the way, who's Don? ;)

Just reminded me Dom. I hate it when people leave the paper inside out, with the front cover somewhere in the middle - so annoying.
Always happens at home :(
But you live alone...

Couldn't be further from the truth

All internal organs are on the opposite side to normal. Also have the rarest blood group, and left handed to boot.

I'm with Aligupter on the mushroomaphobia. I'm convinced I'm alergic to them and will keel over if I ever eat one. Can't touch food that has been cooked with them.

It's annoying when people put mushrooms in food, it means I can't eat it, and it seems such a pointless exercise putting in mushrooms, when they are such a pointless "food".

I'm also Left Handed. :D

I am right handed and love mushrooms. Hmm have we hit on something here????
No because although I'm left handed, I do like mushrooms.

Do you have 666 printed on your forehead Dave?

I am kind of ambidextorous and in general don't care about mushrooms so long as they are cooked into the food and not on their own.

I love great big fat field mushrooms sauteed in butter, and can eat a whole plateful on their own, lightly seasoned, or on toast. Mmmmmmm.... :) I prefer them on their own, since they often lose their unique flavour when cooked with stronger-flavoured foods. As an example, someone cooked devilled kidneys for me today, which I was urged to eat on hot buttered toast. I'm not a great fan of kidneys, and I found their strong flavour overwhelmed the mushrooms.

Food-wise, can't abide raw or spring onions at any cost, soft-cooked eggs, or tripe in any form. (Apart from what I put up on the forum.)

Mushrooms are a big no no for me as well - anything that grows without sunlight is suspicious to start with, and when even the animals in the field won't eat them I take notice.

I'm with Aunty K - I love mushrooms. Fried in butter till they're golden brown - mmmmmmm.

I can't understand the aversion to raw onions though - they're fantastic, especially with salt. I love a jacket potato, or a sandwich, (or whatever, really!) with cheese, raw onions & lots of salt - luverly! It really makes a salad to include raw onions in it too; and as for the spanish ensalada con tomates - big beef tomatos with raw onion, herbs & olive oil.....it's the best!
