What are you backing Today? Part 2

After a dismal performance last time and the hard races he has had I got the impression a plus tard may be gone at the game.

Rather than try and find the winner I'll place lay him not to be in the first 2

Not the worst option -how hard will they be trying tomorrow.

I could look extremely stupid but 8 runners with the 3 places I quite like French Dynamite each way.

We saw earlier today with Editeur De Guye that a good handicapper can sometimes step up and run really well in a higher class race.

It's not often it happens but it can be done.

As we don’t have a thread for what you’re not backing today, the 1:10 Pertemps Qualifier at Leopardstown tomorrow should carry a wealth warning. Bad enough that it’s a qualifier but Elliott has 10 of the 29 runners.

You’d have to be criminally insane to bet in that race.

They have to finish in the first 4 though.

Too late! Have scraped together a small pot from ew backing long priced horses over the last few days and have a fair bet on Sire de Berlais . Also have West is Awake 20/1 (ridden by Slevin) 12.35 and PD's Freedom to Dream 14.55 in EW singles and a trixie. For the buzz rather than expectation.

110L I've done 2 as well.
My old friend MAZE RUNNER 12/1
and
TAKENAGRO 20/1 he has already qualified and I took 66s ew for the final.has been underachieving for 2 yrs.

Another for Leop 1:10 - Ilikedwayurthinkin currently 33-1 Bet365 (6 places)

Not sure if I'm insane (above was a free bet), but then again I also like Maninsane in the 3:10 at Leicester @ 10-1.

Toophan 3.55Nc
An expensive colt that has failed to deliver so far.
First time pieces and jockey booking suggest that may be about to change.

A Plus Tard scratched?
That blows it wide open. A bit more confident about French Dynamite now...

I see A plus tard read my post, his bottle went and he has pretended to have banged a joint.

Jack Kennedy fills me with confidence the way he rides but I am going against the grain
and taking the best price I can get on Kemboy. He's a proper soldier and there may just be one big win left in him

If I had backed Bob Olinger (I didn't) there I would not be a happy bunny.

Possibly ridden for non-existent stamina, in which case the ride is understandable, but if you're going to ask a horse to go for a stamina race there's no point in being doubtful about it.

Everyones entitled to their opinion but I saw nothing to complain about

Galvin is a tough ride any day he runs and Willie Mullins stopping horses in 100k races is? form your own opinions on that. I promised EC21 I'd be good

Conlfated jump brilliantly wheras Kemboy continously jumped awkwardly but in the end was outclassed

He's always been a champion hurdle horse imo

When he won the Ballymore that looked the case to me, not a natural jumper of a fence and wouldn't stay 3m in a taxi

A season and a half wasted
