I think she was 19 pounds wrong plus the jockey's 3 pounds claim ....... on what she had shown she probably was close to being a 200/1 chance to win the race - but taking the top three or four in the market out of the equation, that's when the extra places come into calculation and some of these crazy odds offered can turn into value on the PLACE markets ...... that said I never cast an eye on the horse myself - but bravo to anyone that did back her. I believe she was available on Betfair at 999/1
 
That does not look good, I did not realise this, they make out they are the only ones who offer extra places. But rarely is that true, I suspect a number of the major firms would have done so with a 14 runner handicap. Some would have even paid BOG if the field had been reduced to 11.

They are a dreadful firm Alex, and offer precious little to punters.

The system is not giving me a definite bet today, Wild Waves is the closest, but in a 14 runner field at 100/30 it's not exactly that interesting if you are a small punter. I would have preferred to do each way, I looked last night he was 4/1 but still not an each way punt. I will leave it and have a blank day. Good luck with Wise Eagle Desijo and to everyone else who is having a go.
 
Got an e/w double from earlier in the week on Wiltshire Lad (150 Muss) and Wild Waves (335 Muss).

Also quite like the chances of Dain Ma Nut In (225 Muss), Jer Batt (300 Muss) & Profitable Edge (517 Muss). All seem to like to get on with it and should be fine on most ground.

I've backed Hansard at 8/1 in the 4:05 at Plumpton: on a winning mark; a home fixture (CD winner); back at the right trip after trying further last time out.

Air of Entitlement -4:10Fairyhouse 100/30-Best odds guaranteed.I think the mares novice hurdle at this years festival was a very Good race that will produce plenty of good winners over the next year.100/30is a fair anything bigger is a bonus.
