Cracker had a fantastic cast too. Robbie Coltrane was unbelievably addictive viewing.
Didn’t Albi kill Christopher Ecclestone?

Such a brilliant story, that one. Ricky Tomlinson as DCI Wise; and ‘Panhandle’ played by Geraldine Somerville. He did Len DI Billborough.......
This is a dying man's statement...
Not available yet unless you’re a subscriber. I tried to listen to one about Harald Hadrader (sp) the other day ( currently watching the last couple of series of Vikings) but that, annoyingly is still subscriber only. I wonder if it’s some sort of anniversary, given that they’ve done the podcast about him and the BBC have shown the cartoon? I used to listen to TRIH all the time but I’ve just discovered History Extra ( there are 2,000 to listen to!) which I prefer, and Dan Snows history podcast ( I’ve just listened to the excellent one about Shackleton). If Wojtek remains subscriber only I’ll have to subscribe.I'm a serious fan of the Rest is History Podcast, Moe. Coincidentally Wojtek is the subject of this weeks release. Not sure if you are a podder, but you may find it here, below. It's a brilliant story very well told. I laughed and Mrs AC wept!

It is an uncomfortable watch.Tv wasn’t working last night as it’s connected to the internet but dvd player was ok so watched Joker. Have had the dvd for years but never got round to watching it. Wish I hadn’t. Don’t mind violence in films and I’m Game of Thrones hardened, but I found it totally distasteful. I know it was very popular at the time and Phoenix put in a stellar acting performance but, apart from that, everything was horrible. The last time I was revolted by a film was Terry Gilliam’s Tideland. Wish I’d watched Little Women, now.
That was Hayley Campbells top programme of 2024 on the Must Watch podcast. I don’t have Disney, though.Say Nothing on Disney -excellent.
Couldn't recommend it highly enough -very fair to all sides. That was Hayley Campbells top programme of 2024 on the Must Watch podcast. I don’t have Disney, though.
Yeah I watched that last month, very very good.Say Nothing on Disney -excellent.
The Naked Gun was on tv last night - but late enough that I recorded it. Have a feeling that Sophie will enjoy it just as much as me, so I’m looking forward to watching it with her!
Jets and the sharksWas sent this today. Reminded me of how brilliant the character is:
It was on film 4 I think, so it might be on more4 ?B*gger. I meant to record it.
I'm a big fan of the Naked Gun/Airplane humour.
That's some recommendation.Started to watch American Primeval on Netflix. A bit like The Revenant, but without the joy and happiness.
