Trump vs Harris

Yes, the language you use to describe a female enemy of Trump says so much about you, of course.

The bloke is a danger to democracy anyway, but given a mandate that bolsters his own credibility, he will be unstoppable. An ego that size, with few restrictions and great power, presents a great danger to the world.

And, yes, the bloke is a pervert if he's pointing at a 10-year-old, who he doesn't know, and labels her "pretty".
He actually never said she was pretty which goes to prove you have no idea what was actually said.

The incident was reported by none other tan CBS news who have attacked trump hundreds of times.

What he actually said was an off the cuff silly remark when he got on an escalator at the same time as her "I'm going to be dating her in 10 years and laughed"

Relax guys.

Seems to me on it's own and in of itself it could be meant innocently. Even though it's not something I would do.

I think Len is referring to it in the wider context of Trumps other alleged wrong doings?

I think that's where wires are getting crossed here.

Sorry, but this is not how we treat our fellow members. I've suspended your posting privileges in this thread for 72 hrs. Please don't do this again. Thank you.
How about suspending someone who refers to a woman as a slut, too?

Why would you call for a fellow forumite to be suspended -do you have a problem with free speech.
I have a problem with misogynistic comments. But, as a mainly male forum I guess they’re acceptable.

I'd like to put it on record that anyone can call me a "slut," tell me I'm talking bollocks, or to get to F and I won't take offence.

I've been called worse.

Feelings running high on this thread so, to lighten the mood, let's all laugh at Rory Stewart and all the media pundits who wouldn't know a sustained betting exchange market move from a jug of milk and are still trying to work out exactly what the Hell just happened.

My favourite deluded couple are the hideously pompous and holier-than-thou Obamas, who thought they could patronisingly lecture an entire nation into voting Democrat.

Just looking at her speech-full of cliches and sad faces.I think she was a very poor candidate who only got the gig because Biden was so late withdrawing from the race.I would happily lay her at 4/1 to be the Democrat candidate in 4 years time.

I may be repeating myself but what I find sad is Joe Biden put his life and soul into becoming President and sure he would have lost to Trump but his own people stabbed him in the back and replaced him with a muppet who lost bigger than he would have and robbed him of his self respect and his legacy

I think Kamala Harris is a well-intentioned person with a social conscience, but I don't think she was a great candidate.

That said, I think Michelle Obama would have been far, FAR, worse.

Every "great speech" she gave was preaching to the converted while playing that tired old "if you're a real man you'll do what I want" line and it just didn't wash with great swathes of the electorate.

So many of my centre-left peers never learn - you don't get working class people to vote your way by telling then they're stupid if they don't.

Hasn't worked with Brexit and most elections in my lifetime over here and doesn't work over there either.

This is Trump's most powerful mandate ever - he's won the popular vote as well as the electoral college, he's got control of the Senate and probably Congress too.

He can do what he likes and anyone who truly believes in democracy will agree this mandate gives him the right to implement his policies in full too.

Like him or loathe him, Trump won fair and square and the world needs to suck it up.

And as a footnote David Lammy, for his past remarks, and those Labour MPs who campaigned for the Democrats have rendered their positions untenable.

As Jack Nicholson's Joker in Batman said, in this life you need to always: "think about the future."

And they manifestly didn't.

‘Asked whether Labour staff helping with the Democrat campaign could damage the UK's relationship with the US in the event of a Donald Trump victory, Ms McGovern told Sky News: "As far as I know, this is a voluntary thing and it's about volunteers going and sharing their time.

"This is a normal thing that happens in elections."

Labour staff have travelled to the US during previous presidential elections to campaign for the Democratic nominee’.

Lammy calling Trump a neo Nazi won't be forgotten -he won't get into the same room as Trump
Strange that because when Johnson was London Mayor he called Trump "Out of his mind" and 2 years later Trump was calling him a mini Trump and was his bestie. So that is nonsense. Lammy told the truth as did Johnson

Utter nonsense, Johnson called Trump "out of his mind" when London mayor, then a a while later Trump called him mini Trump and was his bestie.
