According to TDK, the Ladbrokes line when asked for a price is "we don't think he'll run"; they then refused to lay a bet at the price they quoted, so you may read into that what you can! ;)
 
The final nail has been driven into the chances of Zarkava winning next week. The worst value favourite of a big race since One Cool Cat was under 2/1 for the 2004 2000 guineas is mucho fancied by Angus Loughran. Nice for the layers.

I think that forecast could be pretty significant...no rain or not, if there are showers during the week and then followed by rain on Sunday itself it could change the going significantly.

If there are showers in the week, it will only mean that they don't have to water and they're only talking about light showers anyway. The horse I'd worry about would be Vision d'Etat, as it's possible he won't run if the ground stays as it is now.

There was just about enough to set the windscreen wipers off in the car this morning, but it's still raining now. Heavy drizzle is what the weathermen would probably call it. Other news is that Overdose is 99% sure to be going for the Abbaye and not the Fôret

Given Zarkava has won on Heavy I guess they have nothing to lose by making it a bit soft, as regards the home team's chances!

Not so good for DOM's chances of running, let alone winning
PS I note AOB has said he is intending to run him, but ...!

Could there be a better each way bet, assuming he won't run if the ground is unsuitable?
