Slightly gutted. I backed Katnap each way as my ex b/f was working for Sue Bramall and he was there (along with In Temps pour tout) and he used to ride them both. He really rated Katnap and I couldn't believe seeing him in race today. He looks different horse physically now and had he not mullered that fence may have won.

agree granger. One from my tracker and backed ew at 16/1. The only thing is his hurdling would want to improve. In saying that over 3m they should be going a tad slower.

I have sub lieutenant at 8s last week and done lalor ew in the bumper at 25s. I also think rather be is too big at 14s in the first.

Cheers. Rather Be @ 14s & Lalor returned 33/1 so my festival is more than covered. A good day. [emoji6]

Been at work all day so just watched replays on JC website

Looks like the ground has quickened up markedly

Anyone know if they are watering the track?

Jaime Mooore eh. Cost Kylemore Lough that big handicap in December with a terrible display of presenting a horse at a fence and today could not be arsed riding out for a place on a 16/1 shot. What a ****.

RUK pictures inexplicably always cut-away to a narrow-shot near the line (muppets), so I can't really comment.....but if he has downed tools, he has cost me a decent e/w double with OO7 at 16's and 20's the pair, which would have helped ease the pain of the last two days.

Finians Oscar 3/1. Looks a great price to me or am I missing something

Questionable form, question on the ground. Trainer back in form though.

I've backed Politologue in the Maghull. Flat track will suit and the interesting race for me in this horse's profile was when he chinned Rock the Kasbah and Royal Vacation over 2m5 at Ascot. He put in a beautiful round of jumping that day but didn't really run all the way to the line and this step down in trip might see him improve. 11/2 very reasonable.

Good luck, I feel 2M4F was too sharp at Cheltenham, I thought he needed three miles beforehand, and watching the race confirmed what I thought. So they drop him to two miles. He's not for me, he may run well, but a proper two miler should beat him, imho.

Would go along with Brio Conti, (tentatively).

Fountains Windfall beat a horse flagged up on here as a decent type, (Solighoster), last time out, so I'm anticipating a big run off 137 in the 1:45.

Rightdownthemiddle is worth watching in the market in the 3:40. Recently joined Gordon Elliots yard, beat last years Grand National winner, Rule The World in 2015; There's ability there, when the horse decides to show it, imho. I reckon some market support might prove my suspicion, that he is a plot-job horse.

Dave Noonan has two right decent rides tomorrow in first and last race, to book end his Ballynagour Grand National Day.
He will get a special docket all to himself in the hope of a red letter day.
An Capall has an article in Irish Examiner tomorrow about him so worth a read i am sure.

We knew! :)

Alan King has to be on the trainers to avoid list after that sack of ****. The horse travelled like a dream and found nothing.
