Arse Cup

He's a thoroughly decent man and when calling home Orbys River today, unlike the Racing TV 'experts', never queried why an ex-PtP mare that had finished second off 75 in a hurdle race would be competitive off 74 in a chase.
 
There are some new contenders- Megan Nicholls and James Millman have thrown their hats into the ring albeit they are in the beginners chase compared to Thommo .

It has been a joy to look back at the early pages of this thread . Good to see some posts from dear Krizon who tells me she has just reached a certain age .

That’s great to hear Krizon is still about. I was just talking about her with another long lost forumite who I’m still in touch with (she set up Atacanta that a few of us migrated to for a while...Ardross included and it was a lot of fun there)

I remember Atacanta, it was a good natured place, never did know why it disappeared.
Final Furlong was another one that was good at one time but just faded away.

Must say it's nice to know that Krizon is still with us, I remember well how she used to put Clive in his place!
 
Both Atacanta and Final Furlong were great and very good natured but I think it was cost eventually. It was Griffin who ran Atacanta (we had a long running story going that everyone contribute to whereby a cow of Songsheets, beat Denman in the Gold Cup - it was highly amusing!)

Krizon was capable of putting everyone in their place! She used to refer to herself as Gate B*tch at Lingfield and Brighton where she was on general admissions. I do miss her on here! She was highly intelligent and very interesting.
 
I am amazed that Rupert Bell was never down as a contender for the Arse Cup - I know he fortunately only appeared on very minor media but his idiocy and cringeworthy behaviour Thommo would have been proud of.
