Atkins Diet

Woww, Kathy, that's a real incentive!

I'll weigh myself when I get home this evening (clothes off - I want to go easy on you, so to speak) and post it up.

You can start putting the money away immejitly.

You're on Maurice! No removing any limbs when the final weigh in is due in the name of raising money for a good cause! :P

Was that just after the roast lamb, spuds, three veg, pud and two pints, Mo? :D

Let's just say that's the weight I'm currently aspiring to getting down to for starters... :o

It's no good sponsoring me, Kathy, unless you've got a spare £5,000 you don't want?

Yeah, I'd guess around there - when I met him a couple of years ago, he was wearing those Cuban heels, so it was hard to tell. It wasn't until I fell over him, I realized how tiny he was. He's packed it on since, too, as he was only 7st 5lbs then.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehawwww!! :D :D Kathy, I ought first to tell you what the going weight is, and what the goal is. I, er, am not sure you'll - how can I put this delicately? - wish to continue the venture at the same rate you mentioned to Fatboy Mo! It won't be so much a fatbuster, as a bankbuster, but if you're up for it after due consideration, then awaaaaaaaaaaaay we go... Is Mo actually going for the burn, or just arsing about?

I have had but a glass of fizzy water since I came home. I've half a honeydew melon in the kitchen fridge and a whole watermelon in the spare fridge in the garage (hence the spare tyre).

Paul, Brian's not far off it. I'm 5'6".

Does that mean I've got to put up my weight in public, or can I just PM Kathy and you? :shy: I don't mind admitting I still appear to be 5' 10", though...

... and since coming in from a monster shopping trip (all walking - no car involved), I've only drunk 2 glasses of organic o.j., eaten a light mixed salad, half a panini with Mozarella, mushrooms and prosciutto ham, one ring doughnut, and one jam doughnut...

Mo, seriously, if you're ON, and Kathy's fantastically kindly offering to sponsor us, then away we go. I've been twittering on about it long enough to myself, without getting a sensible answer back, so let's do it!

I can always flog my inheritance if needs be Krizon B) You don't even have to PM me. I trust you 100%!! Write it on a piece of paper and leave it with The Ancient One!

One condition though, both of you must promise me that you will not go all anorexic and have to be hospitalised and put on a drip in the name of raising money for your chosen charity!

If you would like to name your charities beforehand feel free to do so.

I have every faith in you both.

I am sure Maurice won't respond for a while as he will be out doing a power walk right this minute!! :)

Kathy, this is REALLY good-hearted of you. I am, as it happens, flogging off old racing books and mags at Lingers for the IJF and Racing Welfare, and plan to do some car boots for them as well this summer (at Fontwell - they have a HUGE car boot sale every Sunday morning). So far, the tally's at £32 and if I can get up to £50, then I'm sending them £25 apiece. If I manage to shed the tonnage I'd like to shed by the end of this year, they could be getting a fair old wedgerino!

I'm going to dust off the speaking scales now: "YeeeOWW! No coach parties, PLEASE!" :shy:

Only too happy to help Krizon and two great charities to support!

Nice to see Maurice is still out powerwalking. :)

Depends on your build Paul, but I would say you are probably an ideal weight for your height.
