I have the money down on Exotic Dancer. 9.6 was enough for me to get interested.

What do people think of Turpin Green's chances?

Nicky Richards has had a good few horses run well recently; 4 wins and 8 places in his last 30 runners.

Turpin Green has won first time out each season.

And I don't think the ground is against him at all.

I obviously think that Kauto will win, but I actually think that ED and TG are the two to chase him home.

I would prefer My Way in the King George.

Turpin Green obviously runs his best races fresh. But in his finest hour, running a great race in the Gold Cup, he was still beaten by Exotic Dancer and Kauto Star. No real reason why he should improve to beat both of those, even if he beats one of them, so not worth a bet for me.

Turpin Green does run his best races fresh and is undoubtedly talented so should run a big race. I have backed him small at silly odds but much as I like the horse he isn't to be trusted and I really do feel he needs the ground to be quicker than it is. I think My Way De Solzen could be very good and hope he franks that opinion tomorrow.

My Way De Solzen could improve a full stone on his Arkle form and still not be placed in this. I think he's a good horse and all, but he's way way underpriced for this tomorrow.

I disagree. Apart from anything else the horse has been screaming to be upped in trip; imagine how good he could be when he wants a trip yet has won the Arkle?

I disagree that he could improve a stone from his Arkle form and still not play a part. This is a serious horse, a stayer who has the speed to win an Arkle. Yes, I do think that he should be less than a 3/1 shot tomorrow as I think he should nearly win the race, KS being the obvious one he has to beat.

If Exotic Dancer can improve from a handicapper to a genuine Grade 1 performer then My Way De Solzen has as good a chance given his general profile.

Why does everyone assume MYDS needs a prep? Trainers are more than capable of getting one ready FTO and this one looks a bit special to me. I'd have no problem having a bet taking his fitness for granted.

Phew....

Fair play to the winner, bar a slight couple of mistakes he was foot perfect today. Battle on really well when challenged and what a challenge Exotic Dancer through down to him.

Looks as if the O'Neill horse has improved again off last years remarkable improvement and really gave KS plenty to think about. Was getting pretty close there towards the line.

My Way De Solzen travelled and jumped well but to me he looks a horse that needs his first run of the season. Just was not ready for this.....only fair to judge him on King George day.

Fair play to Beef Or Salmon...kept plugging on for third.

I was almost too nervous to watch this race, given recent fatalities, but it was a cracker. I agree that MWDS faded quite fast after travelling well, will be interesting to see him again next time to see what he can do now he has this race under his belt. Exotic Dancer ran an absolute cracker though, his connections must hate Kauto!

MWDS was stopping at around the 2m6f mark...so stamina wouldnt have come into play at that stage.

Kauto Star odds now in some places for the King George.

Might they [ED's connections] consider avoiding Kauto and trying Leopardstown? Amazing that this horse doesn't have a Grade 1.

Yes you've got to feel really sorry for ED and connections., in any other era he'd be top dog, no question. It['s hard to know what he can go for to give him the top win he deserves

I don't think the ground suited MWDS but maybe he just is a horse who needs the run fto. But once KS started to race instead of just lobbing along it never looked in doubt til Ed came up to him - another few yards...... And I'd have collected on my fun fiver @ 9s!!

If nothing else I am delighted to see the connections of KS and ED get their rewards for bravely campaigning their horses. Roll on Kempton!!

If I were one of Exotic Dancer's connections, I would be seeking out Kauto Star. Think he is definitely beatable in the King George this year, and on good ground at Cheltenham, I would fancy my chances.

I'm not Geraghty's biggest fan, but he gave ED a masterful ride today. Got him back into at the last when he looked beaten between the last two.

Well said Galileo.

While we all question KS's jumping....ED now is getting into the habit of throwing in some desperate jumps. He did so early on today and he also took apart the second last fence at Kempton last year.

He's been beaten over 40 lengths. How unfit was he? King is no mug and thought he had him fit enough to do himself justice.
