Betfair Chase

Well done winners.

Tough luck EC. I followed you in on Dynaste and managed to scrape a few pennies.

Credit to the winner, but I'd be interested to hear the comments of the losing connections.

Never thought he would stay and can't really say why but absolutely fantastic. A true star

would sprinter sacre get as close to Cue Card over 3m as Cue Card got to Sprinter Sacre over 2m and 2m4f?

8/1 for the Gold Cup appears to be wrong.

But SS hasn't come off the bit in beating Cue Card in 2 races by a total of 11 1/2 lengths
I would wager that over a good ground 3m Sprinter would still beat him smoking a cigar.

Combined distance??? Why not add the Supreme into that. For all Sprinter Sacre's brilliance, it looks like Cue Card looks like he was running over a trip too short for him when taking him on.

Long Run looks tailor made for the grand national.

I get your point

And yes definetley,
A true stayer with those modified fences and 33/1 are a potent combo :ninja:

Cue Card is such a smashing horse. I backed him at massive prices for last years Gold Cup but I think the 10/1 is closer the right price this year than the 4/1.

I may be the only person in the world that backed the horse for the KG/GC double last year too...

What do we make of the time. Just seen this tweet:
