Bloodstock News

What happens to them if they are not sold?

It depends on the owner, but they usually take them away, tart them up and then try and pass them off as something else. Unicorns were popular for a while but ultimately expensive. Since the credit crunch, you quite often see them masquerading as Zebra's, but for a good one you need to make sure the paint is dry.

i'm disgusted if she was bought outside.but if she was hopefully Coolmore bought her and not darley they'ed just waste her like they'll do with nearly everything they bought today

Dr Koukash just bought my yearling filly for £350,000. That's the holiday in Skegness sorted, then.

(Jus' kiddin'! Be lucky to afford two nights in a tent at this rate!)

That'll be a pretty big wedge lost, then. Anyone got any idea on what the books were like this year for the Top 20? A lot down, a bit down, or no appreciable difference? And have the fees for 2010 been announced yet? PIVOTAL perhaps back to £40,000 by now??
