Breeder's Cup

The "Number of European winners" market has been a huge mover in the last week, 4+ initially priced up at 8/1 by Hills was still 4/1 a couple of days ago, now into a prohibitive 6/4 with them, best priced 15/8 with Tote.

I have had an interest in 5+ at 13/2 with Coral and a saver on 4 but that'll need at least 2 this evening. A small buy of distances at 14.2 for tonights BC races shouldn't do too much damage either.

I'm stuck in work until 11.30. I'll have 3 pints of cider swallowed by midnight all going well.

They're like the american golf commentators.....all talk but little substance. Having said that, they beat Robert Hall and Ted Walsh hands down!!

The golf analogy is a very good one. That's what came to my mind.

I drink both but mostly draught.

I have gone off the drink for November after last weekends debacle.....(Incidentally I ended up in the company of two of your great countymen Gearoid, Canty and O Leary). Sound men.

That said, I had three creamy pints of porter this evening, and I drank a bottle of wine.

They say a bottle a day is good for you.

I drink 12 months of the year and have on average 3 hangovers a week. It's wicked.

Haven't had a drink since January. Two bottles of champagne in the fridge-I have taken them out of the fridge a couple of times lately but changed my mind.

First Drink Friday am, cant remember but an hour of the journey from athlone to Dingle, work up Sat dying, drank my way through it, then woke up Sunday fine. Repeated the dose, Monday fine. Same Monday, Tuesday fine. I am seriously beginning to think that its a one day thing and it needs to be drowned in alcohol upon arrival.
