Champion Hurdle 2014

Dessie and Barry Connell came into owner/trainers bar after race .
They were disappointed looking bunnies, not that they should have been imo.
Bryan Cooper was over heard telling stable lad that Our Connor would beat HF some time but not sure when...The FEAR ?
Granger are you speaking Gaelige as in "The Man "?

Only in the sense edgt that Hurricane is the man and the rest are pre pubescent young teenagers.

The Fear is what happens when you have taken on the champ and know your goose is cooked. Dessie Hughes is a good man but the FEAR has struck him.

Ruddy ell there has been a load more twaddle put on here again today by the blinkered Flyites who have had one too many mushrooms me thinks.
Loosen your brain...cell and read what Swedish Chef has written, and that is the reason the Fly will be beaten before he even reaches the last if the word Good is in the description.
Either way, TNO powers up the hill.

Having been in the fishwife camp after the last festival when I expected one or two of the novices to improve past the Fly I'm now convinced of the error of my ways and would like to offer my sincere apologies and will now hope I'm on high enough ground to avoid the tsunami

Fair play.

Revisionism can be tolerated. You are safe with us now.

Rejoice, another one saved.

What will inconvenience him is his age and coming up against younger horses who are open to a lot of improvement that will be fully tuned up for the day. That coupled with The New One taking them along and The Tent waiting in behind.

Master to Grasshopper -He who is wise does not FEAR the unknown .He studies, learns and understands the ways of how to overcome it.

Our Conor will trounce Hurricane Fly. Why haven't the bookies run for cover?, as clivex has already stated he would be 7/4 at least on the bare form. They don't FEAR him as a liability obviously.
The brains and risk assessors working for the turf accountants aren't bothered by his current crop of GD1 victories with everything in his favour.
I hope that there's a massive punt on HF leading up to the race Grassy -The Hurricane has won his last Grade 1 . The King is dead long live the King

No I'm sure he could win a couple of three runner affairs next season if Thousand stars is still around.

You can be my Harchi

Finally worked it out.

That's you Grassy old chum on the right. With the Granger old boy on the left

The fishwives are well established, Frankel. You could keep going to the end if time, and you still won't make it stick.

I'll say one thing for you and the rest of the girls down by the quayside. You will not be swayed in your misguided opinions, despite our missionary work here. There must be a certain serenity in being so utterly and helplessly bewildered.

Ignorance is bliss.

:D

'Ignorance is bliss'.

You prove it everyday ;)

Did I read correctly that Timeform have Annie top rated for this?
Think someone has spiked there porridge this morning.

Annie won't run.

Ricci will take his lead from Mullins, who will confirm she is a no-hoper against Hurricane Fly (Ruby will correctly remain loyal to the champion). He will then convince Filthy that the World and Aintree Hurdles are there for the taking, and that she can have a crack at The Fly at Punchestown.....in a not too dissimilar fashion to the way he campaigns Quevega in the spring.

Ricci will sign-up to the plan, and Hurricane Fly will win the Champion Hurdle pulling a milk-float.

Pish easy.
