Really finding it difficult to see how people are opposing him with the field.

On a side note, I have been really impressed with Channel 4 who have pulled out all the stops this year from their backing music to slow motion shots. Congratulations, enjoyable watch.

Soll is a very big horse too IIRC Hezz so perhaps Patrick has gone with Allee Garde as it's not as far to fall when he comes off?

Any horse in the race can beat him. Finian's Rainbow is still unexposed. Wishful thinking could come back to form. Kauto Stone minus a mistake at Sandown would have been much closer. Big Zeb could go against him being an 11yo. It's a Championship race, and SE is 10, and whilst he may win, and who knows, maybe even win easily, he can't be value in any way at odds on.

That would be my opinion-we might have thought long and hard about this race for the last year but at the end of the day it's another race -stuff happens.

Would be concerned about Geraghty saying that Finians Rainbow felt like a 4 miler compared to Simonsig last week...but then Simonsig is probably a monster...

Grands Crus obviously sets a standard here - but I've come around to First Lieutenant despite having reservations about him all winter. Mouse is the master of readying a horse for Cheltenham, and the run of his horse in the first race - Four Commanders - has increased my confidence.

I've got those two ahead of the rest....doubled up with Sizing
