With thomas brown claiming 7 pound it takes angelic upstart down to lowest ever aw mark 70 with the claim.Earlier in the season won off 75 at wolves had light from mars 9/2 tomorrow 6ls behind and is even better off at the weights.Actually progressed from that run 3rd to little black book,then 2nd to forgive off 80 actually got the fastest run over this c/d,a third to chookie royale off 79 penultimate run in better race than this.Last time out runing in better class in the track record race at wolves behind alfred hutchinson,takes a drop in class tomorrow against exposed runners bar one or two on actual best form in the book would be half this price.Thomas browns got a 13% strike rate very useful with that 7 pound claim and looks likely to be heavily backed.The race looks ultra competitve at first glance but presuming he's still in good form then would have a decent chance in this race.
 
I wonder if our old friend Kames Park is worth a go at 14-1 today. Clearly a better race and the trip might be too short, but he's certainly in good form at present. Shame there aren't 8 runners for each way purposes...

Shaunas spirit loves this c/d but is now on a mark of 72 and tomorrow drawn 10 other front runners in the race and the progressive captain kendall up in trip and hard to know how much improvement to come,they have the best form in the book.The one other i liked is tidals baby although the price was a lot shorter than i was hoping to see,thought this was going to be a cracking bet around 10/1 opened 9/1 for 1 minute with 365 what a joke and biggest price currently 13/2.With the claim tomorrow gets to run off 59 lowest ever mark 6 pound lower than when 4th behind mr knightley.Was beaten 6ls in that race but the front three all were up with the pace,als memotry was second winner since off 74 and the third compton rainbow has also won.Tidal babys run at wolves you could upgrade by a length or two behind sheer genius,a few infront were only rated in the high 50s but looked a reasonable race for the grade and gets to race off 5 pound lower tomorrow.They would be my three against the field.

An appauling race where you could run it 10 times and get 10 different results three of these ran against each other last time out,teen ager,compton target and play the blues teenager coming out on top from the pace setters first and second were off the pace.Tomorrow compton target and play the blues have better draws i wouldn't rely on them the former 0/14 but theycould realistically lead the race,vale of lingfield was also in that race ran inexplicably bad previously running thitd to bussa and sandy lane in a reasonable time could easily figure but has a [poor draw.My three agains the field would have teenager in for placepot as well as vuhjon another that lookas though been cruying out for this trip and dropping in grade.

Celtic charlie ctaches the eye although never won off this higher mark and with the surface riding a lot slower has been running in better races but over further ideally wants another furlong will probably try and lead and try and make it a stamina test.If this was 1m6s would be a strong fav but over this trip of 1m4fs could not be confiodent.Irene kennet looks open to improvement beat cool kid and el bravo both of those had been running well in this grade,she's only had 8 runs my two against the field with fav for placepot and novel dancer loads of form in better class races but has run poorly both runs here.Fav for ppot.

Soventos been 2/1/2/4 off marks of 52/59/58/63 over this c/d tomorrow off just 49 with the claim and not run over this trip since running off that mark of 63 with the mccabe stable in decent form.Liberty love finished stronly last time ou behind easydoesit won again since and had nolecce behind won as well still looks reasonably well handicapped along with if you whisper lots of form in this grade and better without winning.There are several other but will keep the shortlist to horses that have run over the trip.

Could well be a lack of pace in this race and the stamina of purple n' gold and brown pete may go untested and race maybe run to suit,any pace on would give reflect and brunston a chance after runs behind illustrious forest and sir boss but over further.They ideally want another furlong and a decent pace!!Quite possible adynira will try and dictate and may get a stamina test ran ok behind woolfall treasure and sohcatoha although well beaten,if pressed would go for reflect and brunsrton on hoping on that pace being made at the prices.Two favs for ppot.

A decent little race spirit of sharjah wouldv'e been fav for this a couple of seasons back beating mosqueras romance off 100 after 309 days off ran a couple of lengths behind one of tomorrows favs anaconda,the pace looked against him that day and wasn't given a hard ride.Hard to really know how much ability he retains but beat chapter and verse easily next time out is 2/2 over c/d probably capable of giving these a good race even at 8 yrs of age,piscean will be depending on a decent pace to chase and his turn of foot may be the decisive factor seems to be running better than ever.I'd stick with those two and anaconda for the placepot.

Another horrible race to end with jack my boy always looks a bet produces one bit of solid form only to follow it up with a poor run,has now not won since may 2010 you wouldn't like to be backing him at short prices but this is one of the weakest races he's ever run in and would be on the short list.It looks as though admiralty and exceedexpectations are going to take each other on both stay further so should be a stamina test,will stick with admiralty as i said today when riding angelic upstart thomas brown 13% strike rate thought that was a little unlucky today caught off a slow pace and with him claiming 7 takes it down to 63 and still only the 9 lifetime runs!!

Angelic upstart same as saturday has dropped to lowest aw mark has the fastest recent time at the track was in the track record race with alfred hutchinson.Now only races off 70 having run third to chookie royal off 79 and second to forgive over this c/d off 80 looks quite well handicapped,was unlucky on saturday no pace whatsoever to be staying on nearesrt finish.A few in here havn't got any mile form stir trader,roy the boy and fast finian should be more opace on tomorrow.Lowther could still be well handicapped and maverik looks worth looking out for,but hasn't run for 3 months.


Sail home dropping to a reasonable mark won this race off this mark last seasson has an extra 4 pound off tomorrow as well,a decent third to daffydiowndilly and fairy wind over an inadequate 1m2fs in november off 66.The fourth from that race guarda pampa has beaten another of tomorrows runners sugar lips by 4ls and priced up the same.

Masai moon off to follows,starting tio look very well handicapped has never won on this surfsce but hass run well at kempton before second to chilli green last sesson off 80.Runs off 74 tomorrow with 7 pound claim,even this sesson a second to kung hei fat choy looks good noew recent winner off 78,that race was in a decent time at lingfield and recnt winners pahos won twice and colybor well behind franking the form.The run behind als memory was quite interesting looked to go to slow and was passed by everything then looking to stay on again right at the finish.There should be plenty of pace on tomorrow,swell will probably be the place to catch him winner and runner up off 79 there lst season.This race doesn;t look great so has an ew chance.

Lean on pete just got up last time out,sitting out the back and collaring follow the flag will undoubtedly be winning more races but using those tactics all the time will look an unlucky loser but still makes him reassonably well handicapped.I wouldn't be surprised if follow the flag goes in soon as well has been running more consistent recently and also won't be far away soon.
 
Thrown some coppers at monzino at 50/1 bigger on betfair maybe has the best form in the race but that was at swell last season winning off 60 then followed that up with third off 63.Actually had this ones of eddy a long way behind at swell when winning,today races off just 55 and 7 pound clasmier never heard of but has had two winners.Seems to go on the surfacr last run here was 5th off 11 to satwa laird off 65 staying on at the finish in different class race to this.Has shown absolutely nothing since but 6/7 runs have been on turf where he's never had any form and running over all sorts of distances,plus he has no headgear first time since the win and third at swell.Enormous price if he were just to produce anywhere near that form.

Had a bit more on at 40s!!

Averaged 12.0 and out was worth putting up right little touch!!

Every single thing in the write up pointed to it being planned for this race,no headgear,no form on the flat running over the wrong trips and running off a stone lower mark than last win i even mentioned it slaughtered the second on previous run.And chapman coming to wolves,incredible prices told everyone it would be 25s max,my biggest winner on here was up early enough to get all the prices at least 40s been waiting 2 days for it.;)Won't be one of them for a while!!:cool:
