Daily picks.

Yet another two hannon horses that were eye catchers and look huge improvers worth bearing in mind when looking at the big race entries as there's no way hughes will get these right so many of comparative ability.

edge

Was miles off the pace at chester till the last 1/2 furlong and was nearest finish,in all probability at least a 6f or 7f may suit best. The winning time of this race only .66 slower than dutch masterpiece winning off 89 later on the card, another hannon runner that could be overpriced with multiple entries.

brown sugar

Another hannon runner 6/7ls off the pace, finishing under hands and heels giving the impression he was easily the best horse in the race with loads of improvement to come.As mentioned on other previous runners this one was 40/1 outsider of his three, again showing there isn't much between the majority of his runners and also showing there is value there with all the multiple entries he will have. The time of the race was respectable as well only 1.1 seconds slower than nocturne winning off 94 in later handicap and with loads of improvement to come will leave hughes scratching his head on the big races yet again.

solar spirit

Bit of an eyecatcher solar spirit trapped in a pocket at a crucial time when looked to be cantering, impossible to win when switched at catterick ended up 4th beaten 2 1/2ls.Solar spirits got to come down the weights now hopefully a drop of 2 pound and that would allow him a nice drop in grade as the races he's been competing in have been very competitive. That would allow him onto his lowest mark since winning off 74 april 2012,looking at his profile in recent time his best runs have been on softer ground as opposed to fast ground so that run may have been even better than it first looked

Hi Andy, what do you think of My Kingdom tmr night, thought he ran a nice race lto over 6fs, running on not knocked about into 5th after a slow start. Lowest mark since April last year and dropped into a class 5 after running most of last year in higher class races, think this might develop into a bit of a gamble from the Williams stable?
15/2-17/2 now.

Annecdote,Fleeting smile,Ghanian,Supernova heights

These four look well in looking at the 21 runner class 2 handiicap for older horses only .38 slower than that race but the winner of that racw was only running off 8-5 winning off 87.The first four home in the 2yr old race all beating the second in the 21 horse older handicap, the winner will still be able to run in handicaps for horses rated up to 85.The third horse looks ridiculously well handicapped ghanian only rated 75 and will be massively overpriced if running in a race for horses only rated up to that mark. Two other runners further behind need you now in 6th came out and won a listed race at 33s and the 7th also ran respectably in a listed race on next run 6th of 16 at newmarket.

That's all three now KABBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOSSSSSSHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lol:Form doesn't get much better than that!!

First 3 all won 14/1,5/2 amd 2/1 early prices!!

Will have a token bet on Baltic bomber has aready run really well in this grade twice this sesson, but strangely those runs were in the visor and now taken off strange considering the form behind black ennis bower.Black ennis bower won again Saturday, baltic bomber was slightly unlucky in that race never got a clear run a furlong out and would've gone close, the 5th clublans also won sonce and there was 3ls back to the 6th.Amadeus denton and coca'a moca may dominate this race but Baltic bomber i'll have on a to follows as he is poorly draw tomorrow but 14s is far to big if one of the favs doesn't run to form.

Frog hollow has been an eyecatcher on several runs he's potentially far better than his current mark of 80,but he is difficult ride ran far to free at ascot and was beat 2fs out.He was a huge eyecatcher Saturday and running on to be nearest finish,at some point david O'Meara will get this horse to show its true potential,he sits on a mark of 80 tomorrow.Just the fact o'mear trains I can see this being heavily backed I wouldn't be surprised if it went off 6/4 even shorter,he is potentially different class to these but facing a couple of track specialists and the extended mile could be negatives.Think its the first time I've backed him since going onto follows so maybe now worth following with current trainer.

Supernova hieghts got beat in the conditions race last week against woodland aria as well ec when you think gahnaian ran off the same weight as idler and yet would've beaten the other 20 runners in the older handicap last season.Like in the write uop above there was a lisetd winner and listed placed hiorse out of the race.Potentially impossible to know how good some of those first 4 are as well, you don't get many races like this to follow in a season fantastic when everything looks so solid on times and form and even at this point they still all look well handicapped still.

While Frog Hollow is very fanciable, I'm intrigued that Danny Tudhope goes to Haydock for one O'Meara entry.

In fact, I see he only has two booked mounts there and they're priced up at 14/1 and 9/1 respectively. I can sense a wee breaking of one of my own rules here...

Oh so sassy was beaten 5ls on seasonal debut over tomorrows c/d on fast ground, the time of that race was 1.73 seconds quicker than the handicap on the card won by whisky bravo off 65.That suggests that the 3yr old race was pretty quick for the runners in that race,oh so sassy eased with a furlong to go ridden with handicvaps in mind. The third harbour captain has since come out and won off 60 sluicing up by 3 3/4ls,tomorrow oh so sassys off 61 and open to improvement on only fourth run for chris wall as long as the ground stays quick could fight out the finish with free island.

Free island non runner,i didn't notice black dave had run in far better race last time out will have a reverse fcast with that as well.

got a bit of 2's Ghanaian last night! :)

They can always get beat first time out like annecdote infact would've been massively overpriced if it had on next run when you think anecdote was 14/1 in the same grade and this was 2/1 and fleeting smile 5/2 you can see how far out the books can be.;)

Now My Sun (took the 14/1 last night) wins at 6/1. Nice. (The other sank without trace.)

Well done with the winner, was massively overopriced but the fcast rain didn't come till later so worked out well.

1pt trade rusty rocket 16/1 victor!!

Big field really competitive race several starting to look well handicapped, rusty rocket has been an eyecatcher a few times especially the run at swell when hampered and staying on.Has since run three more times last time out drawn poorly in 3 at thirsk 4th beaten 5ls but that was a better race than tomorrows.Tomorrow gets to race off 75 lowest mark since winning over this c/d april 2012,seems to like this track a third off 80 to defence coincil and take cover on heavy ground.
With the ground softening the standside usually comes out on top, drawn 14/15 tomorrow that 16/1 would be decent value if they split and with him looking nicely handicapped. The other paul green runner beau mistral looks ridiculously well handicapped but is drawn low and hasn't shown enough yet to have a bet.

16/1 ppower

If the draw isn't too much disadvantage I think Chosen One could run well in that contest, though I prefer the stable's chances of a winner with HEAD SPACE in the 4.10 at Nottingham tomorrow, the 12/1 with Ladbrokes is a big price. Coming back down to a winnable mark and stable in good form, throw in their other runner of the day, Light The City in the 6.20 Haydock for an e/w treble.

Baltic bomber

Put this up at 14s today was backed into 11/2 but as mentioned in write up the two best pieces of form were with the visor on and today inexplicably left off.The first division today was over a second and a half slower than the second div so a line can be put through that form today. The 4th to black annis bower looked solid form at Beverley, said horse winning again and the 5th clubland with 3ls back to 6th place, that div that day was alsio far quicker than the first div won by mey blossom.Still only 19 turf runs visor back on looks worth following and especially if back over the Beverley 5fs.
