I think you're barking up the wrong tree, Col. Bruce, a 37-year-old recovering alcoholic, must be a very unlikely candidate to hang around some trendy student pub?
 
I'm sorry to see Bruce taking his leave from here -- repeating mehself by saying again that it's a shame that a member feels compelled to retire because of hostility that he perceives to have been directed towards him.

From all that I have read on here in recent months, I don't recall any instances of Bruce being hurtful or offensive to anybody. Personally I didn't understand half of what he was saying, but the chap put a lot of work into his postings and was good enough to share his methodology on a public forum for all to see.
TH thrives on constructive contributors, and for all his cryptic ruminations Bruce was certainly one of those.
I hope he comes back soon.
 
Although I can understand some of the comments made, Bruce's very first sentence of the first post was:

Without cluttering the main forum I have a lot to say for myself which requires a degree of restraint in order to retain a level of decorum in the main forum and pro actively avoid nuisance threads.

Maybe if it had be left in Chit Chit, it could simple have been a proofing exercise.

And by the way Bruce did get in a few nasty digs that were too subtle to be spotted by most people, including their intended victims.

They were spotted alright.... he seems to have taken over the show here which is a shame as the vast majority of posters here are worth reading but when you log on and see Bruce_Savage all over the place it puts me off. I just don't have time in my life for his crap.

It says a lot about the fact he's gone off in a huff as soon as someone mentions Aston University. I wonder why that'd annoy him so much... perhaps because he liked being Bruce the middle aged recovering alcoholic.

He'll be back soon enough anyway. Either that or he'll set up another persona. Maybe a 36 year old convicted fraudster who's putting his life back together, and plans to make £30k from this year's flat season.
 
What is a shame is that people chose to ridicule him for his 'form methods' when the real reason was because of X Y and Z. This stuff makes my skin crawl.
 
If Bruce Savage is a danger to other people on the forum, financially as a fraud or whatever else, and people knew this, they should have told the admin and left it at that. All this smoke and mirrors stuff has been madness.
