Yes very happy with that. We know he wants a trip so we'll step him up next time. Dan expects him to win when we do. Then we'll put him away for novice chasing next season, which is what he's built for. He also jumps a fence extremely well, so we have fairly high expectations next season.

Bridget's first words when she jumped off is he's a tough horse. They were always going half a stride too quick for him but he still did enough to keep himself there, and when Olly Murphy's horse came to him and headed him before the line he found a bit more and didn't want to be passed. Dan thinks he's got a bright future as a chaser.
