clivex, you are starting to piss me off a little, the first tiem i came across you it was an insult about my signature. & i have read various threads, where you cant help but mention soemthing to do with racism, or another sensitive subject. WHich leads me to one conclusion, rightly or worngly, you are wanting to kick off some sort of arguement. As I suspect you will deny this, you should direct your posts in a more positive manor so as not to lead to people to these conclusions. And as for taking a swipe at Krizon, for the life of me I cant understand why. His posts are not insulting in any way, and is a true character on here.

No but most people have a sense of humour & I see nothing wrong with JFT's siggy i think its quite funny & very true in a lot of cases! also Krizon is one of the most well balanced posters on this board!

The signature is meant tounge in cheek, for you to take it so seriously is worrying.

I don't believe Paul Carberry is inextricably linked to the war on terror if thats what you mean.

I didn't lose any plot - and that posting (check the timings) had nothing to do with the deletion of the thread, which, as has been explained now to the point of bloody boredom, was at the request of offended forum members.
 
Brian the timings are irrelevant. Your assumption that because it is in every newspaper and on the TV and radio every 2 minutes means it doesn't need a thread on here leaves me puzzled.
 
A discussion thread, yes, but one just to point out that it had happened I suggest is redundant.

However, for the I don't know how mayeth time, that had nothing whatsoever to do with the deletion (which is the point about timings).
 
Totally agree, Bobby Jo and Colin. I remember when I used to moderate this place alone with Col, and I never (well, hardly ever) moderated anything. So, does that make me a good or a bad moderator ?

Sounds like Rohypnol or something similar, Merlin, also known as 'the date rape drug'. The only consolation to take from that is that hopefully they were unconscious and unaware of their fate, poor girls.

The forum seems to be becoming more and more regulated. There are many topics on here I would not choose to read just by looking at the title. if they offended me I would just ignore it.
Whoever it was that reported this thread to the mods should admit it and explain why they didnt just use the option of picking a different topic, rather than forcing their rules and values on the rest of us who moderate ourselves
