Find it hard to see Our Breff being beaten at Tramore given how well he travelled into a Maiden run under similar conditions back in August. He's disappointed down in trip since then but back up to 12f should suit him and he's still fairly handicapped IMHO.

Moveable Asset has got to do it today in Tramore...should have won in Listowel bar an inept Smullen ride. Townend will have him handier today and should win. 6/4 is about right.

The o Brien horse in the first at The Curragh looked like a bad yoke behind Trading Leather at Gowran.I know what Trading Leather has done since and I know how bad today's race is but I am a layer at 1.46.

I'd be fairly sure this meeting was always run with free admission.I think it was considered an industry day-not sure if it was run for bloodstock or
bookmaking industry.

This had been an extra day or industry day for a few years since the re-development was postponed.... the ground lately has just been appalling...not for betting in but I still continue to bleed...

As it often is, a very competitive card at Dundalk tonight. I'm on the side of;

Lilys Angel
Flic Flac
Balmont Mast

Not with a ton of conviction, but all 3 should be in the money.

That's a real hole opener tonight alright.

Very decent sprint where most of the fancied ones are drawn wide. If Kingsgate runs close to his mark he wins....I am siding with Hezz in this though despite being wrong at the weights Balmont Mast was impressive over 6f lto and has won impressively over 5 here previously.

Also will keep Colour of Love onside in the opener.
Russian Soul's form on the track is bombproof and despite a 10lb tightener for his last win I'll side with him.
Discovery Bay was slaughtered in the market lto, still has a reasonable mark though and will get a few of my shackles in the 60-90 1m2f handicap.

It had to be an aim this year when it's likely his last full season!

Does it necessarily have to be his last season. Could he squeeze one more season out of it. Despite his obvious constant wasting he has ridden superbly all season and is the strongest jockey in a finish in the weigh room. He has been especially good theses last two months. I cannot remember a close finish that he has come out the wrong side of. His criticism in relation to the Camelot ride in the ledger was completely unfounded and was just simply unlucky to clip heels on Christoforo Columbo at the Curragh. He has proven to be a huge asset to Ballydoyle and at this stage must have the complete confidence of Coolmore. He is completely trustworthy, says all the right things and is very popular amoungst other owners and trainers. The feedback he gives after he gets off a horse is always considered (even if its a 47-65 handicap) and his form book study is exemplary.
It's quite something when the champion flat jockeys both sides of the Irish Sea are standing over 6ft.

Well done lads!!

We'll know that we never appreciated Joseph as much as we should have when we see Ana wearing the famous blue and orange on the Derby favourite 3 years from now :)

Connor King is a name for the future. Won on his first ride yesterday after being a top pony race jock these past few yrs.
JP might do like Christy Roche in 97 and confine himself to riding at home( at 9st 2lb and over). Now he is champ he has little else to prove.
Best wishes also to Oisin Murphy, a top pony rider starting with Andrew Balding. He is Jim Cullotys nephew and spent the summer riding out in Ballydoyle.

We put the money down when others were laughing at the possibility. His weight has levelled out the last month and I'm 1/10 he rides on.

I'd love him to - he's really matured and ridden better this season. While his weight is level the extents he has to go to hold it there can't be sustainable long term. Even one more season would be wonderful.
