Tidy little race at Punchestown. 2m2f might be short enough for Lieutenant Colonel, but then there's no outstanding candidate to take him on with. Gwencilly Berbas is a nice horse, but his best form has been over further and Connell has said he'll be campaigned over further after today.

Might take a chance on Three Stars who ended last season as a decent novice hurdler and got off to a nice start over 2m beating Ball D'Arc a month back.

I don't think a lot of LC - if anything he'll need 4 miles to be effective

Three Stars will make a 162-5 chaser and has 2-2.5m speed

Gwencilly will end up a better horse than LC too over time - will prob need 3 miles
