Novice Chasers 2019/20

Ben Pauling’s Bright Forecast is out until early 2020 after he was found to have a fibrillating heart. May stay over hurdles when he returns

Tomorrow not Sunday sorry (been a long week)

Laurina 2/5
Minella Indo 2/1

Got to be Minella Indo at them prices surely. Don’t really get involved too heavily early season in novice races, especially those first time out, but that’s a lovely price.
I love Minella Indo but would think he'll need 3m to be at his very best. Wouldn't be disappointed if he's beaten.

That was a hot race at Gowran

Word of laurinas schooling were correct. Her jumping was outstanding
She was most impressive. Big races beckon no doubt.

Outside the box, the big Giggi horse in behind, Monkshood, caught my eye. Could be a 4 miler horse for the festival. Too slow today, but jumped lovely. I'll be keeping him in the tracker.

Questioning last years Supreme form now me. All beaten, and Thomas Darby, horse who finished second, looks an absolute pig over the bigger obstacles.

Faugheen was routinely turned over by one of his stablemates on seasonal debut, and I'd judge Thomas Darby after Olly Murphy's stable start fining some form. Far too early to be writing off the Supreme form. Angel's Breath and Al Dancer were both beaten comfortably and have both run decent races so far over fences.

Cracking race at Newbury tomorrow over 2m3f.

Champ
Black Op
Vision Des Flos
Dashel Drasher

Champ odds on, I’d be happy to tackle him at them prices but one I won’t be having any money on.
Vision Des Flos is my dark Horse for season, apparently jumps a dream if rumours are to be believed, wouldn't have minded seeing him over a bit further though.

Champ did so much wrong there and still won with his turn of foot. If they can get him jumping better he will be top class.

Yes. And can see him needing to mature an awful lot so lbs of improvement to come
Aye, PFN basically admitted he was just there for the run and expected to roll in third.

Reserve Tank is an appaling jumper, one I expect to lining up in the Stayers.

The Royal Bond looks a mouthwatering prospect today. Really looking forward to it. Sticking with Abacadabras. Can he beat Envoi Allen, maybe not... But at 5/1 I'm willing to pay my money to find out. And while not ignoring the potential quality of Midnight Run and Embittered, amongst others, I'm hoping Abacadabras is an EW bet to nothing. What a race!

gutting samcro going there just as it was turning into a proper race. hit 1/4 in running

fakir d'oudaries is a great lepper. be some sight in the arkle i'd say.

Looked like Samcro had him covered there. But Fakir a quicker a d better jumper. Arkle beckons for Fakir, surely?

Wouldn't give up on Samcro either. The engine definitely still there. He can feature at the festival and I'd be leaning RSA right now.

yeah i don't see how you could come away from that and be really negative on samcro. jumped well in the main and despite fakir tanking along infront and jumping brilliantly he couldn't shake off samcro. think jlt should be the target personally.
