Skybet are one of only two bookies that I can use. Paddy limit me to 20p on anything - but Sky let me have a score on this

And the wife £15 :D

I didn't know the wife was entered.

I'm sure there's an even funnier answer to that somewhere......................

:lol::lol::lol:

As a wise man once said 'if she pulls too hard try the hood'. At least I think that's why he calls himself Grasshopper.

Fair few mentioning Latest Exhibition could be going for the NH Chase if beaten by Monkfish again this weekend.

I bloody hope not, i think he’s an each way certainty, and NH Chase could actually end up one of the most competitive races of the festival.

If I could have one thing this weekend, it would be to see Unexcepted declared for the Irish Arkle.

If I could have two, it would be to see him jump and gallop them ragged.

I've covered him for the NH Chase nrnb, but I still hope he turns up in the RSA.

I'd imagine Nolan will be on the phone to Venetia to find out where Royale Pagaille goes because taking on Galvin would probably be the preference, rather than knowing they're playing for places behind Monkfish or Envoi Allen. If Royale Pagaille goes to the NH Chase they'll probably run up behind Monkfish by default.

Are they going to get a new sponsor for the "RSA" before it is run this year??

You would think so unless he goes Flogas on Sunday & gets well & truly beat. Then may well be NH chase.
On this line of thinking, there is an argument for backing him NRNB for the RSA now. If you think the only way he runs in it is if he wins or finishes very close to monkfish at the weekend.

Like you I think the most likely outcome is that he is beaten at the weekend and then they go for the NH chase

Getting beat over 2m5 really shouldn't sway their mind. Just run him in the race best to suit. That is the RSA!

My betting slip fukcing says so. :ninja:

Make no mistake,I sincerely hope he gives monkfish a race again & goes RSA as I have him in a double with EA. Be gutted if he goes NH chase

Yea.

If you was a Shan Blue fan, would you say he'd be a better on horse on better ground?

Totally agree re Sporting John. And a pretty good training performance too! (Wasn’t someone saying on here a while back that Hobbsy wasn’t any good as a trainer? Mmmmmm...) I was actually talking to yard Secretary the other day and asked after Defi (I have already told her that one day I’m going to sneak in and steal him away ) Anyway she said he had a slightly cloudy tracheal wash after his last run but was still seemingly in good form. I asked if they had ever galloped and scoped him on a treadmill which they hadn’t. That would be my thought. I remember a few years ago one yard I was at had a horse similar and this showed up a wind issue which couldn’t be heard.

I did have a little on SJ ew as I remembered that I backed him at Cheltenham last year.

I don't know.

Four furlongs shorter than his boxing day win on gd-st. I'd be surprised if connections feel that ground was ideal.

I won't be backing him for Cheltenham but it'll be interesting to see how he performs on better ground, if that's how it comes up.

Franco will be a good horse up in trip won't he

Winner is indeed very good. Great clash awaits us.

The arkle should always be a race to saviour
