Didn't realise we were talking about Energumene. Thought it was the Scilly Isles winner.

Yes, Energumene was impressive but Captain Guinness hadn't been asked a question either. Beating FDP (OR 156) eight lengths (value more, accepted) is very smart but Shishkin would win the Champion Chase this season if they could be arsed to go for it.

Shishkin is a monster.

Not really, as regards Unexcepted. I had a foolish dash at 17 just before the off, and the market told you everything you needed to know.

He jumped great, travelled well onto it, and found very little. Maybe fitness, maybe outclassed. Remains of interest though.

Franco doesn't jump well enough.

Energumene very, very good, but I doubt he will trouble Shishkin.

I couldn't believe his price

Wait and see Franco when stepped up. He isn't spectacular but will be a good horse.

Ergumene goes with his chance now. They did think he was a stayer but looks every inch a 2m horse for now

Last year's was a good Supreme but I've been saying for long enough that Shishkin was a lot better than the bare result and Aba has as much guts as a balloon.

100%. I think Shishkin will come out on top with both Energumene and Allmankind to aim at, but what a sight it’ll be watching Shishkin and Energumene swinging round the final bend. I genuinely can’t wait.
 
it won't happen but after Monkfish's win and performance today how would we price a match bet between him and Envoi Allen if they were to meet in the marsh next month? assume good to soft ground.

I can't find any recent comments from connections on the exact destination of Royale P and Latest Ex. I'm presuming RR won't bother monkfish in the RSA and that Nolan is sick looking at Monkfishes arse disappearing over the horizon - any insight appreciated - thanks.
