Novice Hurdlers 2018/2019

Not what I want for my bets but probably a good decision. I don't think Aramon wins either race, but given the Ballymore looks the easier of the two, it perhaps makes sense to send Klassical Dream there.

She might have been 1/6 so entitled to win as she did but this Epatante looks a machine and seems likely to be suited to a faster pace. Honeysuckle has looked good but at 4/1 (7/2 NRNB) I'm with the Hendo mare.

Yeah the winner ploughing through the last and wandering like that up the run-in nearly handed him a chance. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them to go Ballymore now

Plus he missed a week after vaccination. Was quiet in himself after it.

You know a horse like him was bought for fencing.

It took many a great chaser, a long time to look good over hurdles.

People are quick to write them off, Aintree may be the best place for him before an RSA campaign next term

Ironic thing is they’ll prob step him up in trip now but the Supreme at Cheltenham with a bit more give would be right up his street.

Ballymore will be a better race.

Dai W has the 2 horses and of the 2, the twiston horse looks like the more likely 2m horse to me

Nicky usually has a good horse for the Sefton

Interesting interview there with Henderson after Angels Breath in the Dovecote. Blew up at the wrong time before getting second wind. Alluded to a very interrupted prep and then giving the winner 5lbs. He will improve for it and it was a course record winning time.

Both nico & Henderson both of the opinion he’s still a Supreme test & Cheltenham will suit a lot better.

Angel's Breath, Sprinter and Buvveur D'air all have the same thing about them going into the festival.

Immaturity!! He may not even come close to reaching the heights of those two but his Festival fate (if he even runs) is cast in stone if Nicky is Nicky
.

I thought he looked as though he needed it. Nicky has him down as a quick horse and he was tapped for toe and then outstayed. I reckon he’ll come on loads for that.

I’m not on him antepost, but if I were I wouldn’t be cashing out. Perhaps the Festival might come too soon though.

The ground was very quick yesterday and Nicholls doesn't rate the winner as a Supreme horse. Plenty of excuses for Angels Breath but the unraced half-sister needed further and I think this one will too.

Nicky wants the Supreme because he's got others for the Ballymore.

Could be Archie, although you’d think Nicky would know which are his quickest novices. Also I didn’t think the performance was one where I’d be thinking about stepping him up right now, although I’m sure he’ll want further in time.

I also don’t think it’s looking like a very good Supreme. Looks wide open. Having said that it doesn’t look like a red hot Ballymore either. Hopefully one will come out the pack in each race and win well.

See Angels Breath is taking a lot of support again for the Supreme in lieu of yesterday’s defeat. Back into 8s in places from 16s. I don’t do my own ratings but one guy I do know who does them has him improved from Ascot and has him a pound ahead of Al Dancer.

Anyone here mark up that race yesterday?

Wasn’t Menorah turned over at odds on before landing the Supreme about 3 weeks later? Just saying

Think you’re right Viking. Can’t remember horses name but one of Henderson’s beat him. Remember the race because it was a rare Ruby Walsh ride for Henderson.
