Road to the 2013 Gold Cup

Really? Shame.
Jenning wrote an article after the VC but neglected to put in Nicky's last words on the subject..of course his article was published on the Puchestown Website why wouldn't it be?

"I’m not saying he wouldn’t go two and a half at Aintree, but we’ll have to see"

Were Nicky's last words on the subject

Has to be a toss up between Punchestown and Aintree but no reason why he couldn't do both... He's not been out much this year.

You have nothing to contribute beyond cliches.

Actually smartass I tipped Juve to beat that scumbag team in Scotland;)
And before you drop your usual "racist" cliche, I love Rangers

I saw your Juventus tip-no logic,no reasoning,no analysis-which is par for the course with you.

Magic, been waiting to hear some sounds of that nature granger, cheers for putting up. Highly doubt connections will choose the Ryanair if Mouse is saying the GC. If SDC were to tip up in the GC I'm sure they'd feel fairly sick they didnt give themselves another arrow.

The likelihood is that First Lieutenant will be kept in both races until as late as possible but Morris is in no doubt about which race he would like to go for. “My preference is for the Gold Cup but I have yet to talk to the owners,” he said yesterday. “It has yet to be discussed and I’m sure he will be left in both but my preference is the longer race.”

I don't think the O'Learys will appreciate one of their trainers giving the public his opinion before speaking to them. It will be their decision in the end.

Fair point, but who says Mouse hasn't spoken to them....my cynical hat firmly on!

In any case, even if they're not happy (which like u say Art, they're entitled, if you can take it at face value) I don't see them sending FL to the Ryanair to spite him. I'd have thought the Olearys will be more than happy to send him to the GC.

I think you're right about that, the Gold Cup is the race they want to win more than any other. The Ryanair is a race they happen to sponsor, for the time being, rather than being 'their race'.

Its obvious why they wont go for the ryanair. Its because they will bé surcharged for entering the parade ring, have to wait ages before someone chucks the trophy at them and tells them to **** off out of it and then have to spend three years sueing for the prize money
