The Ryanair should be called the Cathcart.

Anyway, nice of Anzadam to stay at home so Constitution Hill can have one last hurrah before Anzadam humiliates him in the Champion Hurdle, leaving all "The Hill" groupies forming support groups and holding tearful candle-it vigils outside the gates at Seven Barrows.

Much as have less than no time for MO'L, if his company is forking out the sponsorship money he has the right to name the race.

Personally I'd like to see him name it, 'The Ryanair Screw You Chase'.

I don't mind it being called the Ryanair Cathcart Chase - I just think races should have proper permanent titles and not just a sponsor's brand name.

Agree 100%-the start of this nonsense over jumps was when Boylesports were allowed to rename the Bula as the International Hurdle.

Just the reality of the world we live in guys, it's depressing as fcuk but it's economic reality, look at some of the stadium names in team sports.

But on here we still talk about the Hennessy, Mackeson, Massey-Ferguson, Schweppes and Whitbread. Long may our lum reek in that regard.

I think an elite few races have 'protected' names, though.
