Road To The Foxhunters

Jockeys do not come wide to avoid the tape up the cheltenham run in.

To suggest that they do is nonsense.

Like in the Long Run argument and countless others, to adopt a new stance doesn't mean you are giving others anything. It doesn't make you any less of an individual.
so you admit you are wrong?...........good man:D

Always admit that I'm wrong. It doesnt mean that I am in this case though.

Jockeys do not ride away from the junction and the kink in the rail. Calling it overexcitement is hack criticism.

Watched Cue Card win the Ryanair and its very interesting to see when Tizzard hits his horse, where his head was etc.

Some level of rubbish spoken about an 18 year old girl on here. Dread to see what happened on Betfair.

It was a tired mistake by a tired horse and jockey who on a different track would have had a proper running rail to help them.

A friend who had backed Salsify remarked how disappointing it was to see and hear so many people gloating about what happened, including a group I saw toasting Jane Mangan with champagne afterwards.

Have followed Salsify since Fairyhouse at the end of two years ago. Very disappointed to see Colman Sweeney pumping the air in on the walkway back in. Has soured the some of the enjoyment of backing him ante post last year I have to say.

oh I completely agree - and I expect she would as well. She was on the horse, and she was out in front - its not even like she was leant on to run into it.

Plus - I backed Salsify, so I was pretty happy that she'd forgotten the basic bit of riding - point the horses head where you want it to go and the body tends to follow... ;)

Indeed, someone in the Post likened it to dropping their plate in the school dinner hall “I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me”... We should be sympathetic.

Sweeney did not come across well but he did admit he had given the horse too much to do . I suspect it was as much relief to have got away with a duff ride as anything.
