The 2022 Dublin Racng Festival

He ran on well all the way to the line and finished his race much better than he did last year. Both times Henry would have just wanted to get a run into him. He's a Cheltenham horse, never write those off.

I'll grant you that but he's very one paced IMO and he got away with it once but I just can't have him for the repeat,

galopin/honeysuckle/sir gerhard treble a good thing tomorrow?

For the sake of racing and your own ofcourse hope you are right........I think you are but Sir Gerhard was being matched at 11/10 to 11/8 for thousands earlier because of the big jump in class, on paper that is.

He has got to win this hands down to have any chance in the Supreme.....best of luck

While Minella Indo ran well yesterday, he was still a good half-stone short of his form. With the rest of the stable's runners still not really firing, will Honeysuckle get away with being half a stone short of her best?

Very possibly, but would I back her at 1/4 with that possibility? No.

On my figures she has a 9lbs advantage over Zanahiyr but what if the latter has improved 3lbs since his last run?

I think I'd prefer to take 8/11 Zanahiyr without Honeysuckle but I'm not really into odds-on shots.

Let's just hope it's a brilliant race to watch, whether the favourite wins by a wide margin or a bob of heads.

Is Henry that out of form? Or are his horses just not that good? Thought he overachieved last year with what he has and is being judged on last years merits.

Is his strike rate that different to usual?

Minella Indo missed a bit of work before yesterday. Will come on a lot for it. Honeysuckle won't be best because of stable form.

I sincerely hope you are wrong but even when Sprinter Sacre lost going for 11 on the trot we never seen it coming.

Much depends on what batch of horses you are running in this game. I remember Richard Fahey going through a similar spell on the flat beause the previous season he had done so will all his horses were rated way too high.

When you look closely of the last 5 horses at short prices around 2/1 he has run 2 won 1 was 2nd and 2 unplaced......I'm not so sure that can be regarded as bad form but I haven't looked that deeply into it

That said a quick look and compared to PN who has had 12 or more all beaten at short prices he's doing ok if not great.

He doesn't have a string of horses like Gordon Elliot or Willie Mullins so I think after that magical spell last year people may be expecting too much.

Well I'd say that was as good as expected. She did idle a bit in front but yet another first class performance........today she broke Bula's 13 race record for the most consecutive hurdle wins

I am referring to Champion Hurdle horses.......Big Bucks stetched his wins to 18 or 19 before he lost
