I think my point was valid that 40/1, 35/1 and even 33/1 on the 4 timer was a really punter friendly.

those bets were good value Slim..fookin Min..cost me 20 quid and face on top of everything else..great day though all the same..backed AP/NC and some losers..still got a couple to run..all in all..a good first day for me..relatively

It was a value bet. I also covered with three trebles, so realised a small profit.

Rewind to the supreme and I was screaming for Altior. If I'd known the other three would win I'd have been screaming for Min...

I was happy until he was slightly hampered at the downhill fence. He didn't really pick up after that. Quite disappointed in the end.

Sorry. I really did fancy it a lot.
 
I wonder if the other bet, Native River, did too much throughout. He was the only prominent runner still there at the end, running on gamely. The UTPT Newbury form again.
 
Feckin 2nd and 3rd. I actually screamed '**** off Ballyalton' as they were turning in. I backed him twice this season for nowt. Grr
