Off the mark with a handicap. Who would've thought it. 2 lines of my placepot are looking good as well.

I think he might have been short of his best today but Slim's point is valid. Plenty of people were very vocal about Holywell being 'gone' and the stable was out of form. This run disproved both.

I suspect they thought they could win this despite being 90% in order to leave something for Aintree, for which he has run a superb trial.

My initial post was sarcastic and you should have seen it as such and taken it in the spirit it was intended.
 
His usual when 'on song'. Slightly fiddled one or two but nothing major and generally sound.

Pleased it was UTPT that beat him. That Newbury form in November with Native River made me back the latter for the RSA so I've got a saver on him this afternoon.

i wasn't particularlyvocal..i just put figures up to back a view point up..as it happens anyone who backed..well in Holywell ..without that info was not seeing the full picture..its lost...Jonjo when in proper form wouldn't have lost with it

either way..Slim is out of order with the clown ridicule

why do people have to dig at other people when winning?..or not in this case..sad f00kin game imo

it certainly doesn't encourage anyone to try and help others with hopefully useful info

its only tueday and i'm sick of reading smug stuff already

Holywell's ran a nice race, nothing more nothing less. No big deal, some chose to back him and others had their doubts.
 
I honestly couldn't tell you who was being vocal and who wasn't but he was very obviously well in if he could get back to form. Three (?) excusable bad runs (cf Silviniaco Conti before Ascot) meant next to nothing to me knowing the horse's [recent] history of not performing until February at the earliest.
 
And for the record. Maurice called it that very few would get into it. I was only going off the reports that he had sparkled in a recent gallop. Maurice fancying made me go in strong. I'm sure plenty followed us in and we're glad they did during the race.

The day I'm smug about backing a 2nd will be a sad day. He was a divisive horse and I was having fun. I apologise for getting that this place is a depression centre.

what you mean is ..you think its a place where you can take shots at people for no good reason..but when they bite back you don't like it.

if i get it wrong i'll admit it Slim..but i didn't post those stats for me..i try to help folk..i don't post for someone to come on with clown statements..it didn't seem in jest to me.but its very hard to read intent in this arena
