Oooh, yummeeee! I like nothing better than a bit of 10-day old well-pressed badger, myself. Hedgehog fritters or fox stew - oh, yesss!

Chocolate bars and the like being much smaller than when I was a kid e.g. Curly Whirly and Wagon Wheels

People on buses who occupy the aisle seat and refuse to move over to let someone else sit down.
I have found that the "over the specs" schoolmaster look does sometimes shift them!

Threading bloody needles! After God knows how many tries I have managed to thread the needle and sew the waist band button back on to my work trousers.
I've just put the buggers on and discovered that I have sewed it on to the wrong bloody side. D......oh!

Don't you think that's because you're now an adult, imagine? Everything looks smaller when you're bigger!

'Fraid not, Krizon. Recent use of a recipe using Mars Bars shows that what was once a 65g bar is now only 58g - needed 3 1/2 bars whereas once I only needed 3. Good job I bought spares!

:lol::lol:

Mmmmmars Bars! You're right about smaller bars and choccies, though, I'm sure. I swear my Crunchie used to have at least one more bite to it!

The "fun-size" choccie bars that someone buys for the surgeons' clinic have got smaller, barely bite-size now.

That's a very enlightened clinic that buys any sort of choccy, though! I'd like to propose 'fun-size' Scotch or vodka for the dentist's surgery, too, to calm the nerves.

Middle Managers. Any company, they're all intellectual lightweights.

The way the BBC in particular are introducing Kilograms as a measure of a person's weight rather than pounds or stones. I've noticed this on their Olympic and 6 Nations coverage.

February. Still two weeks until the Festival and i'm so bored with waiting.

Winter Olympics. I was going to rant about the BeeB for their rather excessive Curling coverage. And then I saw one of the Swiss curlers

You couldn't pay me enough to be a middle manager.

I've been loving the Olympics; Ski/Snowboard Cross is a ridiculous amount of fun.

That it is, but I love the luge most. Would love to have tried that when I was young and fit, but I doubt that wimminfolk were allowed to do it 'back then'. The two-man bob's got to be one big adrenalin rush, too. Wouldn't like to do curling, though - it reminds me too much of indoor carpet bowls.

With current health cuts under way, they're more likely to introduce a mallet!
