The Road to the Queen Mother

Below is Timeform's assessment of Sizing Europe's chasing career, shown by ground, finishing position, race, performance rating. Re ground d = good to soft, rest should be self explanatory. Can see why some would make an argument for him being better on a sound surface even if he does have plenty of winning form in testing conditions

I spoke with NH 2 weeks back and then he felt it may come a little too quickly for him, and wasn't sure whether he would run him. Contrast that with a very positive bulletin a week back from Michael Buckley. He doesn't strike me as a big gross horse needing a lot of work, so hopefully he'll be ready to run.

Interesting race and one of my favourites. It's been a good betting race for me in the past, but then again I didn't do much work in picking the likes of Moscow, Kauto and Master Minded.

I think I'm with Sizing Europe for this. On some occasions there hasn't been much pace in this race so I'd hope they'll let SE stride on if they don't go quick enough.

Hamm and Nicky up a tree........:D

Yes, it was more or less what my best friend Nicky said to me, touch and go about being ready. Not sure where to with him next, perhaps the Desert Orchid Chase or Ireland perhaps...
