Never has a thread of such initial quality been butchered by so many reprobates.

Now that all the first class forum members are on I'm happy to throw some crumbs at the inferiors.

January 17th
Leopardstown Coral.ie hurdle
Kalkir 20/1 or 16/1

All those intending to travel on the train best board now. Take 14/1 before it's a distant memory.

10/1 now best with some rogue firms. If you're not on by now you need to have a good long look at yourself.

He'll go to 27's in running at some point in that big field, before he arrives from the pack with his outboard engine purring nicely in turbo just before the last. I'll go back in then at that price before amending my will in Slim's favour.

You've already given away the only thing that I wanted.

Only a complete and utter Jessie would be looking back out of this bet, Paul.

I would rather go down with both guns blazing, than leave the saloon by the backdoor, clutching a half-bottle of scotch.

I'm just waiting for the price to drop a bit more (eg once Ruby is confirmed as the jockey it will shorten again) before laying off for a nice return to no risk.

I can't imagine Slim will take this as a slight of any sort. He knows I'll be 'doing' this race and will come up with one or two of my own selections so if I can save some stake money from elsewhere to reduce overall outgoings on the race I prefer to view that as prudent rather than cowardly.

If you're getting out then I suggest you do so now at 7.4 on BF.
