Pretty-much a faultless display from Marine Nationale. Impressive.
It was a very good performance but he was 1/2 and the bookies have him odds on for the Arkle FFS

I don’t think he’s for writing-off entirely - he had a disappointing run at Leopardstown as a novice hurdler before coming back to something close to what would be expected - but the notion he is the monster the yard hoped for, is rather shot to pieces right now.
That's fair, I'm a bit biased as I have a couple of rollovers going onto him in March so maybe grasping at straws a little but writing Mullins horses off after disappointing runs at Leopardstown has been folly for a long time. Vautour got beat at 1/4 one Christmas.
Which one? Indiana Dream or Fact to File?
I’m calling it.
Il Etait Temps should not be a 10’s chance against a 4/11 Gaelic Warrior. These prices are fu*cked-up, imo.
Alas heavy going will have an adverse effect on racing the final few days.
Standing water on the track not the best for horses or viewers.
Very important point that should be taken on board by all punters and Limerick is worse.
He's 7/4 to beat American Mike which could be worth a few bob but backing him to win I would want 28/1 because he's 1/28 not to win.
Most are offering 7/1 in the each way market which is a terrible bet as your only getting 4/9-2/5 about your investmant if he manages to get 2nd. (200 gets you 275)
Unless Gaelic Warrior tips over he's not going to get within 5 to 10 lengths of him IMO
Indiana was the one I had in mind
But the best novice hopefully runs tomorrow in Marine
General 7/2 now.
Don’t suppose you fancy laying me the 28/1, Fist?
Tell you what. I’m not a greedy man - I’d settle for 25’s.![]()
