It was a very good performance but he was 1/2 and the bookies have him odds on for the Arkle FFS

It’s a parsimonious price this far out, I agree, but it’s also kind of understandable they’d want to duck a Supreme winner in a division where the rest are tripping over each other.

as much about lack of opposition and the strong chance Facile Vega goes up in distance than today's performance i think. i wouldn't take odds on now but he could easily be something like 1/3 on the day in a small low-quality field.

I don’t think he’s for writing-off entirely - he had a disappointing run at Leopardstown as a novice hurdler before coming back to something close to what would be expected - but the notion he is the monster the yard hoped for, is rather shot to pieces right now.

That's fair, I'm a bit biased as I have a couple of rollovers going onto him in March so maybe grasping at straws a little but writing Mullins horses off after disappointing runs at Leopardstown has been folly for a long time. Vautour got beat at 1/4 one Christmas.

Step him up, don't ride him as a speed horse and I think he will be seen in better light.

Possibly harsh to say he is not genuine but hopefully a trip improves him

Quevega was a stayer. It was always unlikely that she would have progeny who was best at 2 miles. Competitive sure but, in my view, always likely to be better over further.

I’m calling it.

Il Etait Temps should not be a 10’s chance against a 4/11 Gaelic Warrior. These prices are fu*cked-up, imo.

He's 7/4 to beat American Mike which could be worth a few bob but backing him to win I would want 28/1 because he's 1/28 not to win.

Most are offering 7/1 in the each way market which is a terrible bet as your only getting 4/9-2/5 about your investmant if he manages to get 2nd. (200 gets you 275)

Unless Gaelic Warrior tips over he's not going to get within 5 to 10 lengths of him IMO

Alas heavy going will have an adverse effect on racing the final few days.
Standing water on the track not the best for horses or viewers.

Very important point that should be taken on board by all punters and Limerick is worse.

Fastorslow a non runner in the Savills. Janidil also taken out

General 7/2 now.

Don’t suppose you fancy laying me the 28/1, Fist?

Tell you what. I’m not a greedy man - I’d settle for 25’s. :D

I just tuned un to watch Facc To File and remembered Gaeilic Warrior was running at Limerick

Could have knocked me down with a feather when I saw the price on Betfair.

He's gone from 11.5 to 4.5 and back out to 5.2 and back in to 4.6 so someone the money keeps coming,

That 7/4 without Gaelic Warrior now 4/6 looks an absolute steal now.

Still can't see him getting near Gaelic Warrior who was mega impressive 1st time out.
