I'm sticking with Dysart Dynamo and playing the double with Galopin Des Champs at 11/2

I expect my best bet of the day Nicky's Balco Coastal 7/2 to easily take care of the Elliot hotpot with a bit in hand.

The fav will be hard to beat it that race - he beat a nice type lto at Limerick. I've had a little on the pumpkin horse who should be better right handed. Can't have BG, don't think he jumps that well.

Also done Red Rookie in the Dolos race. Dolos himself is too short in a hotter renewal than last year and the selection ran well in the Arkle for a long way and travelled as well as Fugitif at Chepstow before running out of gas.

Hope Gerri Colombe wins the grade 1 for my ante-post possie but he is opposable on decent ground. I like Thunder Rock who hated Cheltenham last time out - he should be clear second fav imo.

I had a look at Any Second who is 50 on the machine to win and I thought I would have a small bet to finish 2nd......Betfair Sportsbook were offering 4/1:blink: who gave them a licence to kill? needless to say I never took their offer

Yep, 2 r 3 times it looked like BC could shake it off but simply couldnt .... GC finished with some to spare, a big complement beating BC imo

They've pegged Balco Coastal as a 2 miler, so little surprise he couldn't compete - on that course,at that speed - against an embryonic CGC horse.

No -I thought 9/4 was exceptional value. I n the days before my daughter went to University my bet would probably have been 5 times bigger.The substantial late support on betfair was another big positive.Will take it on the chin and move on.
