6.15 UTTOXETER

Lay of Cabimas at 1.81

Kings Best's don't appreciate heavy ground..has 3 opponents at least of which none would be a surprise winner

last one tonight

6.45 Uttoxeter

Lay of Peaks Of Fire at 2.1

up against at least 2 horses that will act on the ground..this one is least likely to act on it

Johnny Skull in 5.45@ 12.0 is another who looks over priced to me, dropping back to 7f on p/t.

Lutine Charlies win in last race gave his chances a boost of sorts. Covered bet with Cadmium Loch.

Finished 2nd, beaten by the gamble of the race.

Got trapped on the turn and came wide but don't think it affected the result.

EC would you not be worried that Cabimas has already shown himself to handle the heavy ground on two different occasions? That was solid listed form when he ran on that ground. Seems like most of the others have questions to answer on that account.

Do like the 2nd one, will probably follow you in. Famous last words.

they 2nd and 3rd ones..first one beaten :p

no i'm not worried by those runs tbh as dayla is a 90 horse and other race not much better..it may act on it but i think at the price is way too short and others bred better for it imo

Good call EC, although don't think the ground beat him. Pulled way too hard for a good mile or so.

i didn't think there was a lot between a few of them beforehand tbh....did pull as you say but i would always oppose odds onners on this ground by King's Best tbh as long as at least two reasonable opponents of course

just one more lay and just for a change..a decent winning night..if that last one wins will still win but not as good obviously...which would make a nice change

Tahnee Mara in the 20:05 Southwell. Sire has a 15% strike rate on the AW, trainer/owner already had a winner at the track by this sire (Sleeping Indian) and her run at Ascot over a lot shorter bodes well for her here (winner now rated in the 80's and runner-up also run well since rated in the 70's). Certainly room for scope off her current mark when she finds her ground IMO - it could be tonight though there's obvious doubts about the trip.

Currently around 14/1 or so :)

Unlucky Martin.

Serious effort and picking that Martin, done a short head when looking for a long time like holding on. Gutted but ew money landed.

I've dutched Always Bold (sire Kings Best) and Kashabelle plus r/f/c in the 8:15 then I go and read this :blink:

Thanks guys - to be fair EC if you don't mind being a bit loose with the definition of "not won for" and "never succeeded" then you'd have had the reverse forecast ;)

Good work today EC :)

Martin
