Ascot 5:10 Kaffie 5pts e/way 12/1 - this looks an easier race than facing Quevega at Cheltenham where she improved imo even though btn 20L - hopeful of a good run as lightly raced.

Last one
late running Hexham 5:30 Northern Executive 5pts win - trainer in form

Ascot 5:45 - 2x5 3pts r/f/c

Satwa laird, was on it last time when looking ok in front turning for home, pushed all way to far rail by rudderless horse. Dropped in grade and looks good each way price to me.

Rubbish form continues, need a good day today.

Fahey/Hanagan combinations today at Ponte.

Also like Gig's bets on his thread and De Sousa on Carragold looks a tip in itself. His record on the horse is 1 ride 1 win. Large each way bet on that for me after one warm up run.

Bonnie Prince Blue looks over priced today, took a 7 length beating from Sofia's number one last time, effectively 3lb better off but also drawn a bit better today. Should place and won this race last year.

Took 9s on glenridding and money appears down on it today for second run back from a break. No win for a long time but handicap mark coming down and given has been in decent form so worth a punt for me.

The fun crusher also has my money and again has been backed, easterbys generally need a run so should be primed for this.

Royal opera has been on the drift this morning but Ellison been in decent form and horse was best finisher at Donny having had a complete pig of a start. Hopeful of a place today.

At Nottingham two in the same race look overpriced, Bispham green and my name is Rio. Bg was a disappointment for fahey last year and he kept picking it to win and it let him down. Seems to have come back in better shape as havemany of faheys but is down in grade off same mark than last turf run. My ne is Rio won first time out and two behind it have won since. Sire soft ground specialist but it might be this one has enough quality to cope with the good.

Another of fahey today is extraterrestrial. Come back run in the Lincoln was impressive and handicap mark looking attractive.

Snow Bay has dropped to what looks an attractive mark of 72, ran a cracker last season when 2nd to Emilio Largo at Ripon from 84, same jockey today even though having 1st run for Midgley, won 1st time out on turf in 10 and 11, hopefully try to make all and should make a good trade IR even if doesn't get home.

16-1 winner, 14-1 place, 8-1 place and a 20-1 shot that got beat only half a length and yet finished fourth, good day, nearly very good!!!

well done

in the 7.00 I think Early One Morning will prove to be better than a 57 horse and hits a handicap for the first time..have backed it at 13.0 and shoved a lay in at 4.0

not low enough

best bet tonight is Iveta in the next..a better horse than attire on collateral form and that one has two poor runs to put behind..poly pomona isn't good enough imo..3.2 taken...should be 5/4 ish imo

Slim, if you post the next reply to this thread, it will be #6000, thereby allowing you to have a massive OCD bet on the event of your choice.

Actually, scratch that - I'm a tit and forgot to carry the 1.

The point still stands.

Wincanton 2:30 Billy No Name 6/1- 25pts win - I think this horse is well - h'capped to the tune of at least 10lbs

Ceepeegee for a good combination of Tizzard and B Powell junior must stand a great chance on a falling mark. Money down for it and I wasn't on early enough but managed to get on at 6's and had some more at 5s

15/8 Hartright in the 8.30 at Wolves. Thankyou, thankyou very much.

Has a much more interesting profile than the rest in this, most of whom have been kept on the go all winter and had plenty of chances. Hartwright was a typical Bell handicap debut improver and won with plenty in hand when last seen. Has since been put away with a 3-y-o career in mind. a Good bit of placing to get him in here off 70. Would be surprised if he's not rated 80+ later in the season, whereas can't see the rest of these proving much better than they are.

Genuinely expected him to be around the 11/10 or 5/4 mark, so happy to play at these prices.

The two Clive Brittain runners jump out at me today. I have two rule with CB, I either back them second time out or Handicap debut.

Saadiigah is a handicap debutant and whilst back from a break a couple of his runners back from a break have run ok. It's opening mark is 64 and when you see that first time out It was beaten less than 2 lengths by Janoub Nibrais that has since won a further 2 times, the second off 92, the fact that the subsequent runs where over 6f and it is back down to 5f for handicap debut, looks a typical Clive Brittain handicap hotpot, just the break that is preventing from putting more than 1pt each way on.

His second horse Rubbamaa is a typical second time outer, new trip and looks overpriced. Definite positive that Queally is on both of them also.

Tonight I'll be on Saint Thomas who I had a good win on a few runs ago and could be ready to go in again and Perlachy - Harris horse with the useful Egan taking off 3lbs. Perlachy is down to a very low mark now and although has been running like a nag has been heavily backed twice but still shown nothing. At some point it is going to go in and although a harsh draw tonight it has the pace to win. Definitely worth each way money.

Evens now. You happy?

Fun Bet 6:00 Chepstow Minella Bliss 3pts e/way - bits of his form gives him a good shout imo but hasn't raced for 4 months and not really positive in markets but a nice price.
