What are you backing Today?

Afternoon all,

really fancy Anibale Fly in the 2.40 at Fairyhouse, backed him to win at 7/2 with a stake saver at 1/1, 2 places.

Good Luck to all Today.

Kasbah runs in 2:30 having left Johnny Murtagh's yard and now gone to Amanda Perretts. He finished just under two lengths behind Ardhoomey, a group 2 winner rated 112. This was about six months ago. Kasbah's gone off the boil latest three starts, (they often do before changing yards), but he looks well treated on best form, now dropped 3lb to 92. Apart from the hot favourite in the race, Kasbah looks a value bet to my eyes at 14/1. We shall will see if this materialises. Market support would boost the confidence. I certainly wouldn't want to see a big drift, it has to be said.

Watch the featherweight in Ludlows 2:40, called Deadly Approach. Carries 10 stone or thereabouts tomorrow. Shown a bit of talent in novice hurdles so could improve leaps and bounds in a handicap chase, against what looks to be exposed horses, or horses the handicapper knows a lot about.

Deadly Approach Ludlow 2:40 10/1

Not seen much the last few days I fancied backing.

Going to have an each way punt on Bapak Bangsawan in the last at Southwell today. Back from a six week break now rated 60. Would like it to have been running slightly better before its break but this is the lowest mark it has been on at Southwell. Won Dec last year c and d after three month break off 68.

Cannot see Rainbow Dreamer beat today 1.40 Fontwell. Head gear applied, fav on the go all year is bound to either bomb out or weaken. Anyone see any different?

Backed Adam Du Breteau in the 2:10 at Fontwell. You can never be too sure about one of Jonjo's but I have taken my chance at 9/2, there's room for improvement with this horse I reckon.

Well done to us! I was impressed with Adam Du Breteau today.

Good work lads 👍
Question - If I back a reserve now tonight for a race tomorrow, do I get my stake back if he doesn't get in to the race?

A shame there is a N/R in the 1:25 at Leicester, as the 8 runners made it appealing for an each way bet.
Far from the strongest logic I've ever provided for a selection, but Stop The Press might out run odds of 16/1+ today. He's had three runs in novice / maiden hurdles, steps up to handicap hurdle level today with a rating of 117 so could be open to plenty of improvement.

As I say a shame there's 7 runners but I've backed him each way still. He has drifted to an unbelievable price. I reckon there'll be worse 16/1 shots running today. If he's in the shake up jumping the second last I'll view it as a worthy exercise!

Thanks Del Boy, DH and Tincan.

Absolute shite performance, I don't usually apologise for fancying a horse but I have to on this occasion!

What do our Irish correspondents think of Serefeli in the 9:00 at Dundalk tonight?

I'm thinking of backing it, but I'd like to hear confirmation it actually has a chance first!

Edit - I think I'll leave it, they're backing the favourite as if defeat is out of the question.

Could see Winning Spark running well in Taunton's 2:40. Twice a CD winner, he ran respectably on seasonal return. Although his successes have come on soft or heavy he does handle better ground well enough to be a major contender. This has to be the NAP. Bet 365's opening show make him 7/2 second favourite. They do not miss a trick. ;)
