Have run out of VPN time, in Thailand and forgot to disconnect vpn after going betting site, so can't get any more on otherwise yes RF.

Just a double for me from earlier with the archie watson runner poetic imagination, was 5/2 , ran a tidy race LTO and wasn't asked too much.

Maybe someone knows something I don't, but 2/1 seems a helluva price for Abe Lincoln (3.00). Sure, Ryan Moore appears to be there to ride the €1.4m 2yo in the novice, but AL probaly needs a penalty from this to ensure a run in the Lincoln (sh hd 2nd in a soft ground Brittania 2 seasons ago).
First run over 10f, but - around this sharp track - he ought to get it standing on his head.

Betfair Sportsbook are going 4 places 1/5 odds 2.15 Wolverhampton. I like Final Attack e/way BOG - as he could be well h'capped judging by the horses he raced against in France 2 years ago. Was off for nearly 2 years but had a run over track and distance 3 weeks ago. I think there may be big improvement today?

Trans Express has history, (and collateral form) with other novice hurdlers on the upgrade, such as Benny's King (Venetia Williams), Ballycristal (Brian Ellison), and LIMITED RESERVE (Paul Morgan). These are now in my tracker.

Limited Reserve has come a long way since I gave him a mention here, with a Coral Cup entry!

I fancy River Frost but Limited Reserve could well be my back-up selection...

Luke Morris fell to sleep on Chevallier (1.45) latest, but had won a better race than this (c/d) the time before, cosily
With the dead 8 in attendance, looks a solid ew play at the current 8/1.

In the 2.55, I'd doubt Atletico will be suited by this sharp 5f, much of his form indicates otherwise, and his outside draw could make life difficult.
Conversely, Encore D'Or has the cockbird seat, and you'd expect Ryan Moore to capitalise on it. 11/4, and shortening.

Hiya.

I fancy Boom The Groom in the 2.55 race, RH. I was on Encore D'Or lto and having watched that race again, I am of the opinion that Boom wasn't given the full drive. Given that he's 6/1 here, I could fancy the value.

Another one for me is Deeds Not Words at Chelmes 7.15. The ride on this one given by Franny last time was as gentle as you like. So gentle, in fact, that the stewards asked him to explain. Given that, it's quite likely that he'll blow out today. Anyway, I'm on the lookout for him.

Agree with Boon The Groom. Good luck.

I think so SP , unfortunately thought this might have been it after seeing him pulled out of 1 or 2 races where he was in with a good shout - is a far better hoss than that showing

I dont think thats the way to ride Boom the Groom.imo he needs to be held up.he will be well hcapped by the time of the epsom dash.

Think that old General Tufto must have a decent EW chance in the last at Southwell today, currently 14/1.
Has only ever contested 2 class 7 races before but neither at Southwell, ran in a C5 lto carrying 11lbs O/W and unsurprisingly weakened after chasing leaders early on. Best when coming from behind as shown 3 runs ago when btn just 3 1/2 lengths by Sooquan who followed up from 4lbs higher. Had Tilly Devine 5 lengths behind that day and has already finished well ahead of Royal Holiday this season. Street Sensation looks a job horse in this but would expect General Tufto to be in the 1st 3.
A couple of R/Fs with Street Sensation and Urban Spirit as well.

In the 7.45W, Celestial Spheres looks a lttle short, considering Adam Kirby kinda nicked the race from the front latest. AK rides Soldier In Action today, and will probably ensure there's no repetition. At 5/1 (3 places) with B365 today, looks well worth an ew poke at the prices.

Only two places there Reet

Cheers, Benny.
Was 3 on Oddschecker when I posted, rhough 1/4 2 places at the prevalent 9/2 should serve nicely.

Put up old General Tufto on Sunday as an EW bet, unfortunately ran on too late to be 1/2 length down in 4th, the old fella makes a quick reappearance in the last today but this is over 7fs and has been too sharp for him in the past but could well run into a place late on.
There is another horse in this that interests me at a price and that is Adrian Wintles Secret Glance. He bought this out of a claimer at Catterick for 12,000gs nearly a year ago when rated 78 on the turf, has raced sparingly since but his 1st run for AW he ran 3rd here over 1m off 63 amonst plenty of Southwell regulars. He's never won on the AW but has dropped some 11lbs to todays 52 with a claimer taking another 5lbs off. Since that 3rd he's been held up in all his races never getting involved with no money for it.
In the past with Eddie McMahon he used to run from the front and won 2 races off 68 and 76 over 6fs, R Rowe got him to win at stiff Chepstow on G/S over 7fs off 75. Think he may be looking to recoup some of his investment as there appears to have been money for him today and prices range from 7/1-9/1 with the books but 10/1 available on the fair. Hopefully he'll be trying off this lowly mark.
