In the 1.45 at Goodwood, Hills are going six places. That makes it a very interesting betting race for me.
Maydanny 'won' the race on the unfavoured side at Ascot so is arguably a winner without a penalty so long as you're happy to ignore a disappointing run at Newmarket, which I am. I have slight reservations about the trip but the six places compensate. I'm happy to go in at the boosted price with the BOG and extra places on offer.
I'm saving on Yuri Gagarin, another whose last run needs forgiving and whose long odds are probably an over-reaction to that run.

Like the booking of top track jockey Mulrennan
In March Easy Game's SP for a red hot RSA was 10/1. Pretty terrible price tbh and although he didn't feature (3m in top company way too much for him) his earlier form in Ireland with Allaho and Faugheen was actually franked at the Festival.
He's that same 10/1 for the Plate later today and at a couple of layers who pay down to 6th.
3.45 Goodwood-Spright @ 9-4 [William Hill]
Always respect when trainer sends a 2-y-o to a top track
I will put this up now as I think it has a very good chance. I might forget so best to stick it up now.

Beverley 3.10 Strawberry Jack
Strikes me as a very well handicapped horse and I've waited for it to run.
However, I think a serious value punt is Makawee at Newmarket, out to 8/1. Top rated on ORs, time ratings and RPRs, she should in theory be favourite but is only fourth in the market.
