Yes a very poor scenario for most of the runners. Not good enough to win listed so wait for a few pounds to be taken off, optimum conditions and one decent try at a prize before the handicapper grabs you again.

The gap seems to be growing, 26k for a listed winner and 60 for a handicapper. The top two rated horses entered in the handicap could conceivably win the listed race . Does that mean they have credit at the Sales ?
