Heck Arkwright, I remember seeing her win the conditions race at Southwell on opening day of the flat season last year :(

I was at Huntingdon Martin when she beat Pirandello (sadly no longer with us either) a year and a half ago.

Would the GN be spoiled if we got rid of The Chair - so often the fence of the real nasty consequences nowadays and quite clearly a trap - look at Kasthari - he sees the gap in front and takes off too early - hence carnage.

I have opened a topic on this question interesting to see views on here.

Very sad about Lord Rodney and always esp for a smaller yard

But great news that both the brought-down mares in the last have got up and are FINE as emphasised by Lydia just now - it really did look horrible

Thats good.

My brother said "something with a french sounding name" :brows: got taken to the equine hospital - any ideas who and how it is???

:( A girl who rides out for us at teh moment used to look after him when he first went to Nicholls'. She told me this morning that yesterday someone she used to work with told her that hed been PTS a couple of days ago - something to do with a broken pelvis and haemmorhaging.

You have no idea how much Id love them to be sick enough to be winding her up.... cry

A real blow to everyone concerned. Ladalko was a firm favourite in the Griffin household. Both Molly & I were sad to hear the news.
