2022 Arc Thread

Reckon Adayar should be just about fav for this.
His class is proven, his lto form is academic, in what was clearly a prep run, probably ran a blinder last year on ground he hated, and he's not been shuffled off to stud for a reason.
9/1 at the mo, but I'll hang fire till we know the ground.

His price was wrong for a good while but Alpinista seems to have close to zero cons. Ground immaterial, won last 7 (5 in G1s) including a comfortable defeat of last year’s winner.

A lot of her wins have of course come in restricted to fillies races but she’s the one who, if winning will have people questioning why they didn’t back her.

The draw will have a big say as usual though.

Any others we haven't mentioned that could run a big race?

What about the Japanese Derby winner Do Deuce? He's very lightly raced and could still improve a lot next week..

It was his first run since May in the Prix Niel trial. We have to put a line through run that don't we?

I have seen the difference a week can make watching Majestic win the Cambridgehire.

I might back this Do Deuce aswell as Alpinista.

If you fancy Do Deuce you have to back Titleholder

Confession time - I pretty much have. I was on Onesto and Al Hakeem from the summer, did an Eldar Eldorov/Lux' ew double on Leger day and have followed that up with others, usually cover bets on daily fancies - Stay Alert/Alpinista, Noble Dynasty/Westover, Zanbaq/Adayar, First Folio/Titleholder.

I have 9 running for me, highlights being onesto at 22, Luxembourg at 21, alpinista at 14, Adayar at 55 etc. Nothing backed at less than 10/1. Quite happy with my position.

Wow excellent prices you have there Simmo.

I hope you guys get a good profit.

With prices like that you could probably trade off for a profit before the race?

With the small amounts that I bet I'd far rather just let the bets run. If I'm that desperate for a tenner there's something very wrong!!!

Surprised they're taking on Baaeed. Suspect, with this and the decision to keep him in training next year, they're trying to make him a 10f sire in Baaeed's likely absence.
Complete guess, mind.

Verry Elleegant needs two to come out to get a run if supplemented for this race. Additionally she hasn't been withdrawn from the 1m6f fillies race on the Saturday yet.

Full order of those currently below the cut:

La Parisienne
Verry Elleegant (needs to be supplemented)
True Testament
West Wind Blows
Le Destrier

Ante-post bets should be refunded if your horse is balloted out; although you may have to chase it up.

Gawd knows what they are thinking. With no baaeed the Arc looks the easier option so why??

Could it be he hasn'y pregressed like they thought and they've though easier getting a place in the Champion Stakes than being out of the first 5 in the Arc?

I took some silly prices 48 to 23 on the machine about Westover will be something elkse if he actually wins:lol:

Betting aside it that power packed finsih he showed at Epsom that really caught my eye and as I've said all along you need that to win a tight Arc like this. Nothing is going to win this Mill Reef style
I think it will be a tight finish and something will force it's way to the finish more like a stayer than a speed horse,

I did favour Vadeni at one time but he was so disaapointing last time he could be a bit of a flash in the pan and beating Mishriff this season is no big deal becuase up to now he looks like he's completely gone.

Anyway good luck to all and leys hope there no more syrprise withdrawls
