Anyone backing Denman should be looking to back him in running imo. Something else will still be on the bridle when he comes off it. Struggled to lay up mid race in the GC and that happened in this race and when he ran at Kempton.

I wouldn't back him today but surely that's the angle.

Great run from Nacarat and also the second and third, Denman was never really travelling and Ruby was giving him slaps down the neck at the start.

Denman ran like a pig.... not for the first time.. he is not half the horse he was.
